It seems to work the way it’s suppose to, I was happy with the results I achieved with it as far as hiding flyaways and adding shine. That being said I’m heavily considering returning it because of how it attaches to my air wrap. I really feel like I have to force or wiggle the attachment in. Also you must insert it in a specific way. I think over time it will wear on the attachment mechanism of my Dyson, so I’d rather drop an extra $20 now to keep my machine in good condition for longer. Let's just get to the point it works like it's says and I have nice hair nothing sticks out or Flys around my hair look great so.yes it does what it claims so if you have frizzy static hair it will lay it down And my hair dryer ain't a Dyson it's a generic type like the Dyson and it works for mine just if you where wondering if you have one like mine. I love that this attachment matches my airwrap but comes at a better price point. I purchased my air wrap set before the flyaway attachment was around, so it was great to find a way to get it in Amazon. I have not tried the authentic attachment, but this one seems to work!

If you have a Dyson Airwrap already, then this attachment nozzle will work perfectly. It fits quickly and smoothly. It works flawlessly without a hitch. Just keep in mind that you are not getting the Dyson Airwrap along with this nozzle for this low price.
