Hands down that it's one of the best hair dryer on the market. It's lightweight, ergonomic, and powerful. It drys my hairs fast with a low heat and medium speed setting, and my hairs do not feel tough dry but smooth dry.

I wanted this dryer for so long! I finally caved when my old one quit working and got it. It’s absolutely worth the money. It is loud, but it decreases the drying time significantly. My daughter even loves to have her hair blow dried now - her hair in the pictures. The dryer has multiple heat and power settings, perfect for all users. The shine and texture you get from this dryer is unlike any other. It doesn’t bother my hand to hold it (and I broke my hand this year), because it is lightweight and the weight is distributed well. I bought this product right before leaving for out of the country on vacation. It works great when it works! When I use the attachments, it only lasts 4-5 minutes and then automatically shuts off and will not turn back on for hours. If I don't use the attachments, it seems to be fine. Such a disappointment because I bought it due to its sleekness taking less space in my suitcase but I had to bring my big bulky one on vacation instead. I read the "troubleshooting" and it's not my outlet, my house is only 4 years old. It's not the filter being dirty because it's brand new and been doing it since day 1. I cleaned it anyways and it still died. Unfortunately due to being out of the country, I missed the window to return this item. $350 later, Amazon & Dyson you won this one!!! Well, try to get this amazing hair dryer on sale because it is expensive. However, it will get you, ahem, points in the bedroom if you gift it to your girlfriend or wife! :) I will say, that Dyson makes great quality products that last a long time even though they are more expensive than their competitors. I don't mind splurging a little if the product is reliable and does a great better than you expect. I am like many others, I see the price and go "Good god, that much for a dryer? No way the price is worth it." I am so sad to report it is, in fact, worth the price. - You can notice the difference immediately upon first use. My hair is dense, thick, wavy hair. Most hair dryers I have tried over the years, take at least 10-20 minutes when drying right out the shower. I also tend to start sweating, as I have to take a longer time thus heating up my scalp. - The dyson dried my hair out the shower in 5 MINUTES. Yes 5 MINUTES. I was stunned. The heat settings are well programmed, as the medium and low settings do not overheat the scalp over a period of time. The cold button was fast and responsive. - I was skeptical of its design, with the open blower, but it works perfect. In fact, I like the longer handle, as I can more easily get to the back of my head. The weight is perfect, just heavy enough and just light enough to not strain the hand. - The attachments are also excellent. The fast drying attachment does exactly as it says, so does the fly away attachment. Now I have just one con: - It does not come with a travel bag. For being expensive as it is, its silly it does not come with a travel bag. Despite my initial scoffing at the price, I can confidently say this is absolutely worth the price. I will warn, the supersonic is similar to a basic hair dryer. If you want to do curling, straightening, etc, you need to get the other dyson hair dryer. For me, the basics is all I need, but if I decide to style my hair more, I would definitely consider getting the other dyson dryer. ... show more

This Dyson dryer looks futuristic and sounds cool when you turn it on and off. My wife loves it very much. The package including multiple dryer heads, it would be better if a holder could come with the bundle to make my bathroom more organized.

    • The best haircare investment I have ever made

Well worth the cost in my opinion. Drys my chin length bob quickly. Really like the ease of using buttons to change temperature and velocity without needing to look at the setting. The best feature is the attachments are held on magnetically. No more trying to find the right spot to pull off an attachment. My only complaint is the heaviness of the (for lack of the proper word) 'box' on the cord. I make certain it is laying on the counter and not banging into the vanity as I move the dryer around.
