This item was insanely cheap. I used it once and upon trying to close the blade it fell apart. I forgot to take a picture. Immediately returned. Not worth it. I ended up getting one with a handle but even just using a blade alone would be a better idea than ordering this junk. Don’t waste your time.

I wanted these to work great as I bake a lot of sourdough bread that needs to be scored before baking, but these were just okay. My regular lame with a thin razor blade attached works much better. These tended to drag in spots which made the un-baked dough tear which also creates ripples on the dough. I did appreciate the free scoring designs that were included. ... show more

These little bread lays are both cute colors, pink and blue and they worked okay when I used one to score my sourdough loaves, but they are plastic and not a super thick sturdy plastic so I think they work fine and do what they say but I did take off a star for them not feeling sturdy enough to feel like they will last as long as my other more expensive ones. These bread lames are aweful. I had such hope for them because they looked like they'd be perfect for scoring sourdough. They do not work at all and won't stay open; it flings back shut on you when you try to keep the blade out. Total junk!
