Description

Worx WG779 40V Power Share 4.0Ah 14" Cordless Lawn Mower (Batteries & Charger Included) This sleek, 14” 40V Lawn Mower with Intellicut™ and Mulching Capabilities is packed with technology and doesn’t skimp on power. With two of our 20V 4.0 Ah batteries giving it 40V, you get double the runtime and double the efficiency. Intellicut is our patented torque tech that lets you dial up the power when you get into thicker grass and then dial it back down to conserve battery when the grass gets easier to manage. It’s a powerful but energy-efficient mower. And that’s just where the benefits start. Gas-powered mowers are messy, costly, and can wake up the whole block. Worx battery- powered machines are clean, both to operate and for the environment, and cost- effective because electricity costs less than gas. They’re also much quieter by comparison, and start with the touch of a button, not the repeated yank of a cord. This mower weighs in at only 29 lbs. and has a 14” cutting deck that’s easy to zip around landscaped features, yet wide enough to cut down on the passes you’ll have to make on your lawn. The 6-positon cutting height ranges from 2.5”- 3.5”. The 4Ah batteries give you up to 1/8 acre cut on a single charge. It’s a better mower for today, tomorrow, and years to come. Worx 20V GT 3.0 + Turbine Blower + Hedge Trimmer (Batteries & Charger Included) Has your lawn been looking a little shaggy and needs some love around the edges? Well, there’s no need to make it hard on yourself, this 20V Power Share Cordless Grass Trimmer/Edger, Hedge Trimmer, TURBINE Blower bundle has what you need for cleaner edges, sharper shrubs, and a debris-free lawn, deck, and driveway. The 2-in-1 Grass Trimmer/Edger really makes this a 4-tool bundle. It’s the most flexible, customizable string trimmer you’ll ever own. It’s 90 pivoting cutting-head handles sloped and hard-to-reach parts of your lawn. The telescopic shaft adjusts to heights and postures of all sizes and shapes. And the adjustable front D-handle lets you find a position that’s comfortable for you. The Hedge Trimmer is similarly designed to be easy on the user with a soft, over-mold grip and a front D-handle that lets you grasp it from any angle for cutting the sides and underneath your shrubs. And at only 5.5 lbs with the battery attached, you can trim for a while before feeling fatigued. The TURBINE Blower has 2 speeds, Low for blowing debris out of tight corners, and High for everything else. And even though it blows out an awful lot of air, it’s lightweight construction allows the user to operate it with just one hand. With the 2 included batteries and a charger, you can operate the tools in this bundle and every tool on the Power Share platform. There’s no reason to stop with just these three tools, now when you buy your next WORX Power Share tool, you probably don’t have to buy another battery.

  • Worth reading the entire review
Size: 14" 40-Volt Style: Batts/Charger Sold Separately Pattern Name: Mower
I saw some negative reviews about battery life, which I don’t have the same to report. This lawn mower uses the larger 4amp batteries (2), and I can mow my entire yard (approx 75’x50’) and it takes about 2 bars on the battery gauge and I then use one battery to run the weed whacker just fine. The only “negative” would be the lowest/shortest cutting height is not very close cutting to the ground (approx 2.5” blade length). The bag does seem sort of small, but not a huge problem (IT WILL LOSE CUTTING POWER IF RUN WITH A FULL CLIPPINGS BAG). It’s very lightweight and quieter than my Shark vacuum. Damp grass doesn’t cause any function issues, neither does thicker weeds. Assembly was just four bolts to attach the handle. No flat ground in my back yard and this mower handles the terrain very well. ... show more

  • Perfect for small lawn
Size: 14" 40-Volt Style: Batts/Charger Sold Separately Pattern Name: Mower
I was happy when my big, heavy gas mower died, as I'd been wanting to replace it with a battery-operated one. I bought Worx mostly because I already had the batteries and charger, even though the mower isn't as highly rated as some other brands. I got the relatively tiny 14" version because it was attractively low-priced and because my lawn is small. The only issue I had with assembly is that I didn't find the bag with the instruction manual, bolts for the handle, and another part or two until way too late. I downloaded the manual from the internet and printed the pages I needed. Then I found bolts for the handle in my garage and installed them. Then, more-or-less on a whim I looked under the deck, only to find the parts bag wedged under there. I had just assumed that it had not been packed byi mistake. It would have been nice if there had been some big, bright sticker on top of the mower or some other indication of where to look for it! The mower works very well. It's extremely light and maneuverable, and since my small plot has a very high percentage of garden edges that's a delight. I'm sure it's going to have enough power to handle even thick wet grass. And it's much quieter than a gas mower (though not as quiet as I hoped) and much better for the air, too. Battery handling is simple and it's super easy to start, ... show more

  • Batteries last 10 minutes.
Size: 17" 40-Volt Style: Batts/Charger sold separately Pattern Name: Mower
I don’t typically write reviews but this lawn mower is one of the worst products I’ve purchased from Amazon. It can not handle any thick grass such as we have in Florida and the batteries last 10 minutes. I have 3 sets of batteries fully charged and can not even get through the entire lawn which is only about 7500 sq ft. In fairness, the blower and edger/weed eater are fine but the mower is a complete waste of money. ... show more

  • Best lite mower!
Size: 14" 40-Volt Style: Batts/Charger Sold Separately Pattern Name: Mower
I have a small fenced in area for my 2 little dogs. Thought this work great for that area and it does. Still had over half a charge in the batteries when I was done and that was with a learning curve. A bit pricey but I had a partial shower replacement and lost .out of the use of that shoulder. This is easy for me to use and pick up. I totally recommend this mower. I also have their chain saw and weed trimmer. Love those too. ... show more

  • Carefull. Worx Model WG799 came with NO BATTERY OR CHARGER
Size: 14" 40-Volt Style: Batts/Charger Sold Separately Pattern Name: Mower
This is an update may 31 23 Im ( very importatant ending) Im67 years Ive never been so upset. Always used gas. I took an interest because lithium batteries are powerful. Cells hold up to 5000 milliamps. Why not try an battery powered lawn mower? What s piece of junk. Buy the one that SAYS not shows that batteries and charger come with it. Dont assume. Its ok but Im disabled. Honestly I couldnt imagine a plastic lawn mower cutting 10 to 12" high grass. Tech support at Amazon was great. See the 2 batteries (use can use one but last half as long) 2x20 amp batteries. They were so nice they gave me a very nice credit on each near $100 battery. I bought a second bat because it hols 2x20 amp batts, just mabe if i put 2 Batts in it it will start. After I went trough all the following, charging the batteries (Which arrive uncharged) it simply will not turn on. I was an electric computet tech. for 20 years. Hell I know how to put 2 fully charged batteries in. Insert the cheap plastic start key & NOTHING. Indicator on lawnmower wouldnt even light up with two fully charged batteries. Currently waiting on the 2nd one to arrive since the 2 batteries cost more than my Worx lawnmower purchase: READ THE FOLLOWING: Dam thing came with no battery(s) Its suppose to work longer if you insert an extra 20 volt @$100 a pop i.e. per battery. I went through hell via Amazon. Phonewise, but they were great. They gave 2 large credits after 4 hours on the phone. 1 call to get a battery and another because the wrong charger.was sent. Plus I bought a second battery. One would assume you dont have to put but one max 2 batts, put the key in the end of the switch. Nope dead. The trick is putting it all together, hell Im a 20 yr retired computer tech. How stupid of me. i bought a 2nd lawnmower and didnt know that there is a safety handle besides the orange key, much like what you see on self propelled gas mowers. Being disabled I whats my buddy throw it together the second one I bought after putting it together, my buddy pulls the self propelled like handle with orange plastic key and bingo everything a ok. Update finshed May 31 22 Dont do what I did. U will regret it. The battery charger shown and recommended was a little 1 amp car battery maintainer @ 12 volts. WRONG DONT FIT. I kept the wrong charger, who knows when ones battery is close to dead. Also Works lawnmowers are shere junk. At leat my opinion. Cheap plastic everything. BUY A GAS OR A NICE CORDED MODEL FROM LOWES! ... show more

  • Very easy to handle
Size: 17" 40-Volt Style: Batts/Charger sold separately Pattern Name: Mower
The weight is much less than the previous Worx I bought in 2015 which had a very large and heavy battery. Very manuverable, and cuts great! I do suggest that you purchase a couple of 6Ah batteries to make sure you have plenty of power.

  • Doesn't Last or Work Very Well!!!
Size: 17" 40-Volt Style: Batts/Charger sold separately Pattern Name: Mower
This is the 2nd one of these I have had. The 1st one hit a piece of metal edging and broke the motor. The 2nd one - after less than one season - is now not starting up - making a lot of noise and doing a poor job of cutting. Since this is SOO light - that is just rides on top of the grass - so I really can't cut the grass short - regardless of the depth setting. I replaced this with a different model - the is really powerful - was able to cut the grass low enough for the fall. I am sad that these don't seem to last or do a good job - as the replacement was nearly twice the cost. You get what you pay for! ... show more
