This is not my only 20v Craftsman cordless so I had other batteries around. I put it all together popped the included batter on to test it and nothing. I took it off checked the charge and no lights. I put it in one of my other chargers because this one comes with a cheap charger like something you would see from a Walmart tool. No lights on my charger.... The battery was DOA. I put one of my 5amp batteries on the trimmer and it works great. I contacted Amazon and at first they wanted me to box it all back up which was dumb. It just needed a good battery. They eventually thought about it and gave me a credit to buy a replacement battery. She gave me the biggest credit she could but it was still $3.00 less than the base cost and that did not include the taxes. Thank you Amazon for trying at least. I spent a little more using the credit and got a 5 amp battery to replace to replace the dead 2 amp. Over all other than the battery issue it works great. ... show more
