I really had high hopes for this weed eater :( Started off not tuned correctly and would not stay running. I adjusted the screw and got it running. Then it only ran for about 1/2 tank of fuel before I hear a clinking noise in the engine. It shut off and would not crank back. The pull was hard to pull. Hard to start and difficult to attach tools. It’s also quite heavy but when it starts and you get use to it, it’ll do the job. I would not use it everyday or commercially but occasionally it’s fine. Can’t beat the price!

Mixed gas, pumped primer, choke, on switch, pulled 3 times and started. Plenty of power, relatively quiet, a bit heavy, but great machine for the price.

Used once took while to start first time once got started used for about 5 min. and then died while using it and will not start, not happy at all. Frustrated, let it sit for a couple hours and tried again same result will not start.

I used the weed eater for 30 minutes before the plastic throttle hand control broke and locked into full throttle. The plastic brush guard on the handle busted the second time I pull started it. The kill switch wire connection fell apart while operating. All of these issues happened with in 30 minutes of first operation. I only used the brush cutter since it didn't run long enough to try the other implements. I however did receive a full refund with no hassle for the item without being able to ship it back. All plastic items such as the throttle control, brush guard, and string head are not good quality. I would not have purchased this item if I would have had the opportunity to have seen in person first. ... show more

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This item has been the lowest quality, and the worst Amazon purchase to date. Instructions were in German and was very difficult to find where all of the parts were supposed to be assembled, only to find out that we were missing parts. Bought the necessary parts and paid a professional repair shop to assemble. Mechanical parts were faulty, and the unit is deemed completely unusable and does not even start--needing complete replacement of everything with the professional repair shop stating, "It has indications of excessive wear that are only seen on longtime and abused use of machine." The item has an expired return date as of Sept 6, which unfortunately has just passed, and we are stuck with a piece of junk that belongs in the garbage. Most of the components are plastic and very poor quality, should have just sent back when we opened the box and saw how flimsy the guard, switches, handles and accessories were. Save your money.
