I also bought these based on a review by Project Farm and really like them. Very sharp - be careful with them - wear safety gloves (especially if you are used to working with dull knives). These knives come terrifyingly sharp. Like, I could cut myself just by glancing at the knife block across the room. Seem to be holding that edge quite well so far. But I would not I'd buy them again. The problem is that they're rusting incredibly fast: I have to immediately hand-wash and hand-dry them after every use, because if I actually put them through the dishwasher they're covered with rust spots by the time they come out. I've never, ever seen cutlery rust this fast. No way I would have expected this from a "professional chef knife set" that claims to be dishwasher safe. I'd return these, but as long as I continue to treat them with kid gloves they're suitable for kitchen work. But you, dear reader, should probably avoid my fate and look elsewhere. Edit: after posting my initial review, Wizeka reached out to me to offer a full refund for my purchase. I'm adding several stars to my review for this demonstration of excellent customer support and confidence in their product. I will not, however, be taking them up on their offer: these are still sharp and tough knives, and by treating them carefully I'm hoping to keep the rusting to a minimum. Given that we're in a new house and a new state, I cannot be sure that there simply isn't some effect of the local water that's contributing to the rusting problem. ... show more

I have had these for 6 months. These knives are sharp, look great and as far as I can tell are great quality. I’m not chopping stuff every day and I’m not running an infomercial here but I love these! Bought them to replace a cheap big store bought brand and couldn’t be happier. Can’t speak to the sharpener since I haven’t needed it. Obviously don’t let the sharp in come down on your fingers. I still have all of mine but have cut into my fingernails more times than I care to mention. My own fault. Nobody is out here looking to buy dull knives. I’m am more than happy with them and hopefully this helps someone else ... show more

Updating my kitchen and replacing old worn out utensils , towels, etc… recently purchased this knife set and couldn’t be more pleased.. paid a little extra for this set for the upgrade.. it is made of stainless steel and very sharp had wood butcher block for counter with knife sharpener as described.. well worth the little extra highly recommend.. ... show more
