I love it, it's the only permanent toner that worked for me. After bleaching, it took the yellow right of and left me with the ashy/Platinum blonde i wanted. Highly recommend. You'll probably need 2 of this if you have really long hair.

Wowzer! From Bozo the Clown to platinum blonde.

I am a 60-year-old lady who loves short, sassy haircuts. What I don't like is my natural hair color, because it's mousy brown with a bit of gray. Very unattractive. Some call it dishwasher blonde. I am not sure why. A couple of years ago, when everybody let their hair grow out and showed off the gray
and white, I thought I needed to follow this trend. Turns out that mousy brown turns into a very unattractive middle mousy gray. It's not silver (which I hoped nature would give me now, to make up for the dishwasher blonde mess I was born with. But no, it didn't happen.) I got some health issues, have vertigo and balance problems, gained weight, got older. Just life I suppose. Going to the salon seemed like a task. I have been a bottle blonde (first yellow blonde in my 20s and 30s) then I got highlights (from 40 to COVID). I hated when my hair in 2020 got longer and longer, and mousier and mousier (is that a word?) Finally, I cut my own hair (good grief, don't ask) then I got a short haircut again, but according to my new hairstylist, I am not even 30% gray yet, which means the beautiful snow-white I hoped for, might never happen. When I called a salon, I almost fainted when I heard what they would charge for highlights and a cut now. I get it, everything got more expensive, but seriously. That's a bit much! I bought Schwarzkopf Blonde Me Lightner bleach and the matching developer, invested in a cap, and everything else I needed, and decided to color my hair. I know you can end up with cat-pee yellow hair or Bozo-the-clown orange hair, so I wanted a "plan B" around. I stumbled over this toner and ordered the 'lightest ash" and the developer (and a fun purple color just in case). Sure enough, I bleached my hair and it looked cat-pee yellow. The brass tone all bottle blondes like me fear so much. I dried my hair, swallowed hard (didn't drink) mixed the toner and the developer, put it on, played cards on the computer for 20 minutes, and voila. I love my platinum blonde hair. Next step purple and pink stands around my face and I am going to be the happiest older lady on this planet. Sorry for the lengthy review and the humor, I feel joy!

While it did fix my hair and turned it less yellow it smelled SO bad it was burning my eyes and nose and it hurt to breathe maybe don’t use if you have asthma

I used to get away with bleaching alone for the bright white look. Because of graying, my hair goes terribly yellow, even using a 40 developer. Applying T18 for just 5 minutes gives me perfect platinum results.
