I bought these for my dad after one of the wheels broke on his chair. He had some cheap plastic wheels but the chair itself is still in good shape so I figure this would be better than a whole new chair. They fit just fine and they're a little bit shorter than the wheels that were on there which was great because his desk is a little shorter than most I think. They feel very solid with the metal construction and roll decently well on the carpet. I bought these wheels because two of the original wheels broke on one of our office chairs. These are heavy duty!!!! They are extremely easy to install and work like a charm. These wheels are very smooth in operation and are extremely reasonably priced. An iPad stand that drove me crazy previously now rolls very easily. Because I move that stand around several times every day, I joke that my standard of living has improved. Strongly recommended.

Sturdy, smooth rolling office chair wheels, that spread load significantly better than what came on my Herman Miller chairs. On hard surfaces, they're smoother and quieter than the stock wheels that come with most office chairs, plus the wider wheels allow use on my short pile (but with a thick, medium firmness pad) carpet, without leaving dents in the pile, like the OEM wheels and some fixed glides, that I tried before these did. ...plus they're cheaper than a medium-duty carpet protector sheet! A version with slightly larger (2½"?) diameter wheels and black finish would be even better, but these are already very functional and well made, so they're perfectly acceptable as-is. ... show more

Purchased a new office chair this year and after 3 months noticed the hard plastic narrow caster wheels were delaminating our 3 year old vinyl flooring along the joint edges. My fault for not noticing sooner or getting a chair mat. Too soon to know if these casters are a cure for the issue or not but the wheels are well made, sturdy and have a wider track which distributes the load better. Some noted stiffness of the wheels but I have not... besides, I don't want my chair to be a skateboard - it's too hard on my backside. Will update if issues down the road. ... show more

I did the rollerblade wheels twice before, both ended with a broken chair after a few months, those wheels do not hold up, if you sit on the edge of your chair to type or draw or whatever they will ruin your chair. So I went on the hunt for a double rollerblade wheel, I bought the fun looking clear ones and 4 months later I was on the hunt again, those wheels didn't pivot well and I would find myself skipping my chair to move it. Then I found these diamonds! These wheels are the answer and should be the standard for EVERY chair, they pivot on a dime, they are smoother and they make more sense, you have much more of a stable base and no more worries of a single wheel snapping off!     • Absolutely Terrible Quality for Office Chair use

These wheels arrived on time and were packaged satisfactorly. The problem is they do not spin, the wheels are very stiff, and they are also small. I had to raise my chair an inch and a half to get back to proper height after installing these. 2 wheels on a single caster seems like its good on paper, not in execution. They collect more lint, hair and dust, and because the wheels are dark brown you can see every bit of it. This also produces a wider rolling path and when you collect dust and hair etc on two wheels it makes the wheels roll and change direction like crap. I used these on hard wood floors and I had to push my chair 5 times to move my chair as far as I could with one push on my older inline skate style wheels. (Which lasted me 5 years I might add) These wheels look heavy duty and might work well as casters for a tool box, dresser, shelving unit or a cart etc, but not for an office chair where you need to move and change direction regularly. ... show more
