I bought two of these nine months ago. One is still going strong, the other began to intermittently lose power. I managed to restart it several times by jiggling the cord at the base of the fan, but that only worked for a couple of weeks before it died. That said, I have tried many such fans in my grow tent, and these are the best ones so far. So, since the price has come down a bit, and my other fan is still going strong, I bought another one. Then, I contacted Vivosun about the defective fan, and they refunded my money! With such good customer service, I have no problem purchasing more stuff from Vivosun in the future. ... show more

This is a solid fan for a small scale green house. Quiet and puts out good speed for plants. My only complaint is they advertise it being 6”, but its really 8.5”. The fan blades themselves are 6”, but the cage is a lot bigger. Wish them made a smaller size

Vivosun isn't know for the best quality but this fan was perfect and everything I needed. It oscillates so your entire tent/area gets the breeze. Plants will love this for making strong stems and branches and displacing air to help fight mold/pests. I bought the more expensive green wifi version but I never needed all the extra. Had this for about 2 weeks has been in use in my 4x8 grow tent for that long , came down to water the plants to hear a clicking noise once every 20-30 sec , every time it turned left and tried to turn right it did a shudder then a click then started to move . its angled downwards so nothing is interfering with it , saw a few reviews that said it hates something rubbing on it while turning . have a funny feeling before the 1 Month Return period is up ill be sending it back . the fan part is great , but i needed it to get air flow moving around for the seedling to grow thick , does me no good i spent 20 something on this when a 5$ one at a brick in mortar would of been cheaper and worked fine Edit March 4th 2024 turning died it seems sometime over the weekend , its loose now and has no noise so either what turns it broke or how ever it moves burnt out , was 3 stars now changing this to 1 since it failed soo quickly ... show more
