The picture it captures are sharp, but view is not wide angled… it stays connected, so no problems with that. It picks up sounds well. Setting up is no harder than any other. The one thing I do have to mention is that it doesn't start recording until a second after the detection so it might be nice if the manufacturer has like a buffered recording method or something similar, and even installed a high capacity memory card doesn't help. The battery can drain quickly if it pivks up as frequently as it does where I live, but rechargeable so it's not that big of an issue. Buying the camera is cheap, but the cost for cloud storage is where they push for you to get to make the money on subscription. ... show more

This doorbell is better than expected, reading a few negative reviews I was not sure about buying it but gave the company a chance anyway. This doorbell holds a good charge for about 2 months, and I have it detecting everything... I work with your wifi in your house and our cell phone. You can be 100's of miles from your house and still see on the camera with your phone and talk to whoever comes to your door. Its nice. You can either use a micro SD card or you can spring for the subscription if you have the extra money to be able to record ... when someone comes to you do it records in 5 second increments. Overall it was a good purchase... It even receives updates from its creator of it.. Read the instructions carefully that come with the device to make sure its being setup correctly. ... show more

The product itself is fine, looks great. I just wish it worked. It won’t connect to my wifi and I’ve had my wifi modem restarted twice and all is working fine. So it’s not me. The CloudEdge app that it’s supposed to be compatible with, can’t even find the device. I’ve tried and tried and it keeps saying “connection failed” when I’ve followed all the step by steps, I’ve even googled and looked on YouTube. I don’t know what else to do but I’m not exhausting myself with it any further. This is the 3rd device I’ve tried. ... show more

This was very easy to set up and the app makes it very easy to control. The sensitivity is adjustable, but I liked it right out of the box. No need to pay for any services. You just set it up, and it sends notifications any time it senses movement if you want it to. Great value!

This door camera looks good. Secure installation with a star screw at the bottom, so no one can just pull it off. It functions as it should. Motion detector records everything that moves, the "humanoid" feature doesn't work as it records every car that passes by. (Human AI detection is paid just like any other security cam these days). As for lens wideness, this is NOT a wide angle camera, so keep that in mind when purchasing. The lowest point of this security cam is "battery life" - I tested it without motion detection recording: the battery last 25days. When motion detection is ON to record for a mere 10secs. Battery lasted about 18-19days!! This is a deal breaker even at this price point. Other security cam, battery life lasts 30-50day per full charge. If purchasing this - 1: it's not wide angle, 2: bad battery life. Be prepare to remove it from the door for charging every 18days!! ... show more
