I purchase this when I moved from a house to an apartment complex. I wish I had known about this when I lived in my house versus messing with the tiny screws that come with the ring camera and the siding on the house!! It is SO much easier to install on ANY door with this product. You need to provide some counter resistance when you tighten the holder on to your door with the big screws. Once you do, it’s not going ANYWHERE. Very secure. A major plus- it will will be a piece of cake when it’s time to recharge my ring doorbell. I like that you don’t have to take it apart to recharge the battery of the 2nd generation Ring doorbell. This is the doorbell that has a built in battery. I've only had the doorbell mount for a few days now but it looks exactly as pictured. It was super easy to put together and fit my door with ease. The color is nice also. I added the cushioning around and behind my ring doorbell to prevent from shifting inside mount box and it truly helped secure it. The media could not be loaded. I ordered black came in white, will not be able to install need the Mount to be universal for different door options, might reorder,, not sure yet!! when i tried my door to see if it will work screw doesn’t go all the way down not attractive sticking out. Ugh
