I like that you don’t have to take it apart to recharge the battery of the 2nd generation Ring doorbell. This is the doorbell that has a built in battery. I purchase this when I moved from a house to an apartment complex. I wish I had known about this when I lived in my house versus messing with the tiny screws that come with the ring camera and the siding on the house!! It is SO much easier to install on ANY door with this product. You need to provide some counter resistance when you tighten the holder on to your door with the big screws. Once you do, it’s not going ANYWHERE. Very secure. A major plus- it will will be a piece of cake when it’s time to recharge my ring doorbell. This product is great, it holds our Ring Doorbell securely without any need for screws or adhesives. We love in an apartment, so drilling holes on the outside is out of the question, and I don't trust adhesives to hold up long term. This just clamps to the door easily and doesn't really interfere with the door's functioning. I also appreciate that it has easy access to the back of the Ring for charging. The only downside is that the pads that clamp to the door on the inside are just threaded onto the ends of the bolts. So every time you go to remove the holder from the door for charging, the pads stick to the door just enough that they come unscrewed from the holder and fall off. Not a huge issue, but it makes charging the Ring that mush more annoying. ... show more

So simple yet genius! I guess most genius products are simple. This product allows you to easily move your doorbell while also securing it from theft. Put the doorbell cam inside the box and it easily secures to any door. Plus the product will hold a cell phone or other small similar devices that can work for surveillance. It comes with various foam inserts that allow for size adjustments. Its feasible to use these on multiple doors inside and out wherever you need security. Just pop your device inside and feel free to move them around. I would recommend using it on your garage door and/or on a bedroom door inside the home. If you need security while staying somewhere else you can take it with you without even removing the cam device. I would like to see a price decrease and I would buy another one. ... show more
