  • Perfect!
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying I love Reolink products. I've been waiting for the battery wireless wifi doorbell release for some time and finally got it. It was set up on the first try in less than 5 minutes. Super easy! Since I live in a condo and didn't want to drill holes in the stucco I chose to mount mine with double sided tape on my storm door. The camera and audio quality is amazing in both daylight and at night! I've had problems with other wireless cameras on the front patio not capturing people, deliveries, animals, etc because the wifi on their device couldn't keep a connection. I've had absolutely no connectivity issues with this Reolink camera which is amazing because my router is located at the back of the condo nowhere near my front door. Their app is also very stable unlike the other brand I've tried. It's also nice to be able to see all my cameras in one app. I'm very happy with this purchase and am glad I expanded my reolink system with this wireless battery wifi doorbell. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • A few small quirks but mostly does the job
Color: Black
I really like this doorbell and it works with existing chime, something many don't do and the reason I got this model. I can't say if this model is a little slower than the powered ones but I assume it is so as to save battery. The door bell power does trickle charge it to keep the battery charged which is a bonus. The picture is very clear and I like that it tells you if a package/person/auto has arrived. I turned down the auto detection so that it would not pick up cars going by. When testing it the instructions tell you to not point it at a light, I had it laying on my desk looking up at a light and it would not work correctly until it is pointed away so keep that in mind. I also like that you can have it call you when someone rings the door bell, quite a nice function. You can also see an in depth review on lifehackster on youtube. I think he had an earlier version and didn't recommend it but it seems most of those flaws have now been fixed and I do think it is a good investment. I opted not to get the remote storage as it seems they are still getting some of the bugs out of that. I think it would be a worthwhile investment as you would have storage internally and I have also heard that they are working on the client so that you can pick either internal or external storage for video viewing. I also read somewhere that the remote storage can also "chime" so you don't need to buy another chime since this doorbell doesn't come with one so keep that in mind. ... show more

  • Great product.
Color: Black
Simple installation, hooked to existing power source from existing doorbell and also works with existing chime. You will need a sd card. Great picture and audio quality.

  • Not better than Ring, but ok. (Install issues below))
Color: White
IMO, it's not better than Ring and the interface is not as simple, but it works. Contrary to many reviews, setup was HORRIBLE but that's mainly due to the internet service provider (ISP) you are using and the firewalls that block communication. Long story short, you may have to connect your phone to the same wifi network for initial set up, and half way through (when it fails to connect to device) you have to DISCONNECT phone from wifi and finish the set up using phone data. After that, setup and installation was smooth but turned a 15m process into 1.5hrs with troubleshooting. For WIRELESS (not WiFi model which is wired), there was ZERO information on how to hard reset to restart the setup so here it goes. There is no reset button and the power button functions as the power AND hard reset. Long press (5 sec) to turn on doorbell camera and while ON, press the power button 3 consecutive times to force a reset. I had to do this because it "connected successfully" to the internet/modem but failed the last step when connecting to the app/device. You CAN'T fix this issue unless you hard reset and redo the setup with the steps mentioned above. I could have saved myself a hr or so had they put this in the instructions pamphlet or simply added a reset button like every other device in the world. ... show more

  • Awesome camera
Color: Black
I just replaced a Ring doorbell with this nifty Reolink model. I am a big fan of Reolink cameras and have been wanting for them to come out with a doorbell camera. I was really excited to make this purchase. I just installed it a few days ago and it’s working perfectly fine. My biggest issue with Ring doorbells is having to pay a monthly subscription to have access to recorded videos. But what I love about Reolink cameras is that you can add a micro SD card to save your recordings without having to pay for a subscription. Another neat feature is that you can have different audio settings depending on what you choose (ie. person, package, vehicle, etc.) along with a different ringtone when someone pushes the doorbell button. Battery life seems decent and this is so much easier to remove for charging than my old Ring doorbell. I only wish there was an option for solar charging. ... show more

  • Battery only lasts a few days, even when wired into power
Color: Black
Even if you wire this doorbell into your existing transformer, it cannot charge itself fast enough to run continuously. The problem is worse with a Home Hub. Reolink's claim that the battery lasts 5 months is a straight up lie. If you have a Home Hub, the battery lasts less than a week. Needless to say, this means it doesn't have a continuous recording mode, and if you use something like ZoneMinder to stream via RTSP from the Home Hub, the battery won't even last a day. Unless you're willing to .... 1. Shut off the breaker 2. Disconnect the unit from the wall 3. Unscrew the wires 4. Take it inside and charge it via USB for a few hours 5. Wire it back in and remount it 6. Flip the breaker back on ... on a weekly basis, this is not the device for you. ... show more
