We bought this as a low-cost way to try out induction cooking and have been pleased with the results. I wish the listing had included dimensions for in-cabinet mounting, so I've included a scan of the relevant pages of the included manual. If the image doesn't load, plan on cutting a hole that is approximately 270 x 500mm (10 3/8" x 19 1/2") with some additional small notches to allow for protruding screws along the sides. We retrofitted a kitchen island table from Amazon (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GTCQLR9/) to hold the unit at a convenient height. If you choose to operate the unit as a stand-alone device on a counter or table top you may need to make adjustments to the included plastic "feet", as they weren't even. If you are going to cabinet-mount pay attention to the air flow requirements. Air is brought in from the bottom via two large fan intakes under the 'burner' sections, and is exhausted on TWO sides. When viewed from the perspective of the control panel, most air goes "right" and some goes toward you. In the photo, our controls are on the left and most exhaust air is exiting above the drawer. There are no air vents on the other two sides. The metal body of the unit has not become warm in operation. An infrared camera can see some heat inside the air vents but the fans do a great job of keeping that low. ... show more

I purchased this Nov 2023 for a planned RV build. I took it out of the box the first week in March 2024. DEAD. Nothing no light, no sounds no nothing. I recommend immediately testing to ensure it is not dead. Unfortunately it had let the return time expire so I was stuck with a non-operational product. UPDATE #1 Mar 15 2024 After reading my review the company reached out to me and offered a refund or a new product. I chose the refund as I had already purchased a replacement product. Changed my review from 1 star to 3 because of the customer support. I still can't rate the product but the customer support was a pleasant surprise. Update #2 Mar 25 2024. I decided to purchase another one and try it out. I needed the product for a new project. Biggest reason for going back to this vendor and product is the customer service has been great. Also the cost of the induction burner is very competitive. What started as a 1 star review has changed from a 1 to a 3 to a 5. We installed this in our Pickup camper to replace our propane cooktop. I was putting in a new electrical distribution center so I ran a separate 20 amp 120 V circuit for the cooktop. Since we hardly ever camp without an electrical hook up, it works great. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner on it. Love it.

UPDATE: My original impression of this cooktop was not good because there was a minor issue with the appliance, but the customer service people were extremely helpful, willing to ship me a new unit very quickly. They were great at resolving my concerns. I received the new unit and it worked great! It is a high quality cooktop. I tried all the features and everything worked as expected. Most impressive is the absolute excellent customer service. They communicated quickly, courteously, and very professional. The customer service clearly wanted to make sure we were happy with our purchase, and we are very happy. If I had one suggestion, it would be to make the "on/off" feature a little more intuitive. However, after a few tries, there is no problem at all and we are able to use the cooktop with no problem, and would recommend. ... show more
