I have been borrowing a neighbor's surface cleaner, which is a little heavier and slightly larger. I bought this one because it is a little lighter and slightly smaller in diameter, which makes is easier to maneuver with its ball bearing wheels and it cleans surfaces more efficiently due to its slightly smaller diameter. It also came with 2 extensions, making it more comfortable to use and keeps the cleaner at a good distance that avoids getting water spray on my feet/legs. After reading reviews I decided to buy the 15.5 inch cleaner. One of the best purchases I ever made. I just did a giant driveway and it took half of the time compared to just using the wand and and a nozzle. It is made very well. The 2 extensions will save your back. The wheel make it easy to move. The driveway hadn't been done for a while and was very dirty. This cut thru the dirt and mildew like a hot knife thru butter. When finished I rinsed it off and it still looks new. We honestly neglected our driveway for 16 years. Tree sap, 14 truck loads of mulch, grass clipping, saw dust, tire tracks, brake dust, tree sap, heavy yard machines & trucks, and lawn mowers just to name a few culprits. We decided to invest in Eveage after seeing some reviews. It lived up to its reputation but we took it a step further. Here is what we did. 1. Use the Eveage machine to take off the first layer of dirt - take your time & let the machine do the work. 2. Rinse If you're happy with the results, you can stop here. 3. Use Zep concrete cleaner, apply, wet & scrub with a stiff broom. I used this in car repair shops when I was in high school. I'm sure that there are other products, but I was familiar with this one. You don't have to scrub hard as the soap works well with just a light scrubbing. 4. Rinse 5. Use the Eveage machine to take off the final layer of dirt. You can actually see the rest of the dirt come off. 6. Final rinse Results were way above our expectations. See the before & after photos. First two photos are of the same section of concrete on our patio. You can see how dirty the concrete was on photo #3. We have a fairly large driveway, patio, and walkway. We took our time over a 4 day period and didn't rush the job. Total cost (assuming you have no tools) with gasoline, Zep, broom, & pressure washer was around $700. We already had the pressure washer so for us it was only a couple hundred dollars. Relative to whether the soap affects plants, we didn't use a lot and the amount of water we used diluted the soap residue. Saw no effect on the grass or plantings. ... show more

This pressure washer cleaner was easy to assemble and use. My one negative is the washer does real well to remove most surface dirt but it still lacks the power to remove the hard set in stains on the concrete I was cleaning. I went back over with the wand attachment to remove the deep set in stains. However using the wand was much easier to complete the cleaning, since the surface dirt was already removed ... show more

I power washed the concrete deck and power washed the siding of the house. The machine is very efficient and effective in getting the job done. The concrete deck got the original concrete color and the white siding is as white as can be.
