🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The extension wand is widely appreciated for its length adjustability, rigid construction, and versatility in performing a variety of cleaning tasks from gutter maintenance to power washing home exteriors. It fits securely onto pressure washers and channels water effectively. Users have noted a higher torque reaction which may require some getting used to. Minor issues include the weight making it challenging to manage at full length and a reported leak with an unsuitable o-ring.

Pros

  • 👍 Adjustable length for diverse cleaning needs
  • 👌 Sturdy build delivering excellent pressure
  • 👏 Multipurpose functionality from gutter cleaning to stain and algae removal
  • 🙌 Avoids the need for tall ladders thanks to its extension

Cons

  • 👎 Weight can make the wand somewhat unmanageable when fully extended
  • 👀 Increased torque reaction requires careful handling
  • 💧 One user reported a leak potentially due to an unfit o-ring

Should I Buy It?

Yes, the extension wand is a good purchase for someone looking for a multifunctional, adjustable tool to assist in a variety of cleaning activities. Bear in mind to handle with care due to the torque reaction and check for any potential leaks.

  • Very Handy Tool
Used mine last weekend for the first time and it cleaned out my gutters that were plugged with debris very easily. It lightweight and not heavy duty, but it works as intended and for the price I'd recommend it. So easy to use which will make it easy to often enough to prevent any buildup in you gutter system. ... show more

  • they worked great
bought this so i didn’t have to climb a ladder to clean the gutter on my awning. very pleased with it. you have to be careful as pressure is pretty high and the length pushes it back. it worked like a charm for me though.

  • Used successfully
I read reviews before ordering. Many people reported two issues that prevented them from using the product: 1. Water leaking. This can be solved easily. In addition of tightening the connection using a tool, I used teflon tape to cover the connection threads. This is common sense for connecting metal water pipes. 2. Hard to hold. This is mostly due to the downward water pressure. I was able to use the product by first holding the nozzle away from the surface, and then gradually move closer. This way, I was able to get used to the force from the water pressure. Having an angle also helps. I didn’t give five star because the quality can be better. The pipe is not as sturdy as I expected. There is no Teflon tape in the package. The connection ring is low quality, most likely single use (they do include a few extra). ... show more

  • Useful for more than cleaning gutters!
These pressure washer extension rods are much more useful than just cleaning out gutters. I plan to use them for cleaning the sides of my house from the ground where I used to use a ladder. They seem to be well made and the product comes with several different "quick-connect" end tubes that have different types of bends. The set of nozzles with varying spray patterns is an additional benefit. Finally, I find that I'm able to use my smaller "quick-connect" item along with these extension tubes. Very useful! Be aware. When using the angled end tubes supplied with this product, the wand will torque with substantial force. ... show more

  • Disappointed
While the price is good, the extension when all fitted become very flimsy and is bend affected by the pressure, good luck keeping this thing pointed at the area you want to clean! Additionally the fast contacting fitting are easily disengaged when they come in contact with the gutter so expect to loose a couple of nozzles in there, In the other hand, it’s really good when made shorter yet still kinda heavy ... show more

  • Likely the worst product I have purchased from Amazon
I ordered this to be able to clean some cutters without the need for a ladder. We have a 3000 PSI pressure washer and everything fit together well. So that is where this store takes a turn. I am not sure how this product is usable at all. The first issue is that the hook sprayer part spins. That alone makes the product a challenge to use. I put some tape on it to make it usable, although still not great. The first try was partially my fault. I started with the hook part in the gutter and started spraying with the 60 degree nozzle. Leaves flew everywhere, but the force of the water caused the entire assembly to push out of the gutter and I was not able to prevent the assembly from hitting the ground. It is pretty heavy, so once it started moving, I could not stop it. I would consider myself of average strength, so this seemed odd. Anyway, when it hit the ground, it broke the end of our pressure washer gun. OK, head to the store and $80 later, have a new gun. The second try I was prepared. I started it in open air to ensure it didn't push against anything and used the soap nozzle. the soap nozzle did nothing as expected. So I switched back to the 60 degree nozzle. Started in air. It gave a bit of a kick to try and go back on me again, but I was able to control it. I put it in the gutter and it was a lot of work to keep it under control. Leaves were flying out, you will get hit with water since the hook end will spin even with tape on it. I only had to do this for about 2-3 minutes before it pushed back a little more, I got control of it, but the one of the extension pieces in the set broke at the joint. The third try was better. The entire length was shortened by 2 extenders (1 broke and 1 extra removed to provide stability). Break out the ladder and I am able to keep control and spray. Leaves fly again. I come down to move the ladder and we realize since we still have to use the ladder, it is way quicker to just use the ladder remove the leaves. So, we basically through our money away on this product (beyond return window when we had a chance to use it the first time), had to buy a new pressure washer gun at $80, wasted a lot of time trying to avoid the ladder, and ended up using the ladder and being done with the task. In short, I would not recommend this product or any product that is similar to it. ... show more

  • Very handy
Holy moly... this thing really gets wobbly and hard to manipulate at full length, but it does hang in there and is tough enough to get the job done for gutters on a 1.5 story duplex. So much easier than doing from the top down (not to mention safer and better for the roof).

  • awesome.
works great!! a little tricky to use the more extensions you use. It can definitely make you use two hands.
