I am picky about clean floors and we have pets. We have a very large area of laminate flooring throughout our foyer, breakfast room, kitchen, powder room, hallway and laundry/mud room. I always vacuum first and then wet mop. Swiffer was too wasteful and didn't hold up to the force I use when cleaning. It is only usable in our upstairs tile bathrooms. I saw this mop demonstrated on Cleaning With Karrie Lynn on YouTube and decided to try it. It's great! Comes with two mop heads for wet and one for dry, which I don't need since I prefer to vacuum and have no hardwood floors. The handle is adjustable for your height and comfort. It is comfortable to grip and easy to push the trigger to release more cleaner. There is a bottle on the handle you remove and fill with water and your own cleaner. (I like Fabuloso lavender and my floor smells great all day! )The directions say NOT to leave the bottle filled with cleaner when stored. What I did was pour the remaining clean solution into a basin and soak my mop pad to clean it then hung it up to dry. Easy and no solution wasted. Next time I'll make less since it didn't take a lot. Plus laminate flooring isn't supposed to get too wet. This mop allowed me to spray cleaning solution when the mop head felt dry so solution wasn't wasted. As hard as I pushed, the mop pad didn't budge off the mop head and the handle felt strong and comfortable in my hand. As a reference I am a senior female and this was easy to maneuver. The only problem I had was the first time I tried to remove the plastic bottle from the pole, I couldn't do it. My husband came to the rescue and gave it a good tug, then pulled it on and off a few times to loosen it. Now it is easy for me! This mop was also a great price and was delivered quickly. I love how quick it was to put together. It locked in place pretty well. It doesn’t leak, it’s a decent size and it’s sturdiness is fine. It’s definitely efficient and saves me time when cleaning.

    • Good replacement for Bona

I got sick and tired of replacing my Bona mop after the third time and decided no more. I read a LOT of product reviews before choosing this one, mainly on the basis of reading about good customer service. So far I'm very happy with the mop. I've had it for about 2 months now and have had no problems whatsoever, no leakage, no issues with spray. It seems to be more simply put together than the Bona mop and less prone to the problems I've had with the Bona (erratic spray, leakage in all 3 mops, intermittent problems affixing refill cap and re-inserting refill into mop, and a smaller fluid container that needs more frequent refills). I'm using my leftover Bona laminate/tile cleaner in this mop with no problem. I like to make my own combination of cleaning fluids and you can put anything into this one's container, too. I can also use my Bona mop pads in this mop. The one advantage of the Bona is that it feels more ergonomic and effortless to use - this mop is shorter and not as heavy as the Bona so it requires a bit more effort or force to move around than the Bona - but I'll take that over the leaking and parts breaking any day. I also like that it came with 2 different kinds of mop heads. After I had used it for about a week I noticed that I had been using the wrong one - I had the thicker dry mop head on and had been using it for cleaning. OOPS! Once I switched, the cleaning was even easier. I had a good feeling about this mop from the reviews and especially because it seems that the company is responsive to problems. So far I'm glad I purchased it - at almost half the price of the Bona, too! It was very easy and intuitive to put together (though I still wish it came with written instructions). I've updated this review every month so far and will continue to do so as I see its longevity. So far so good! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. As a cleaning fanatic, I absolutely love this product. I got this as something quick, since I usually use the big mops, and I got tired lugging it up the stairs to clean one room. I have used Swifters before, but didn't like the cleaning products used and preferred using my own. After researching all the types, I decided to go with this one and I'm glad I did. I am 5'5" and it's a perfect size for me, although taller people might have a problem. I like the various pads it comes with, and the hair removal piece. It doesn't streak for me, and is great at cleaning my floors caked with mud from my dogs. I wash the pads after using it twice. The size of the holder is a bit small, but it typically lasts me two uses on my downstairs (3 rooms) and the upstairs bathroom. My only complaint is that the washable heads aren't the best quality and after one wash, the material started to frey at the ends. Pros: -Great price -Can use your own cleaning product -Skinny to get under tables and couches easily -Doesn't streak on my floors -Great size pads for quick mopping -Washable mop pads -Tall enough for me (I am 5'5") -Lightweight, but powerful enough to clean up mud on floors Cons: -Need to vaccuum beforehand or else the mops will leave behind dust/hair on floor -Mop pads not best quality and after one wash started to frey at the ends -Larger areas may need to fill up the container a few times...I only needed to wash 3 tiny rooms and one container lasts me ... show more
