  • Efficient and versatile
Color: Gray
The media could not be loaded. The ninja food chopper is a game changer in my kitchen. With its powerful motor, it handles everything from mincing garlic to grinding nuts with ease. The 16-ounce bowl is the perfect size for meal prep, and the compact design makes it easy to store. It's simple to use, easy to clean, and incredibly versatile, whether I'm chopping vegetables or blending ingredients for a quick sauce. This chopper has made my cooking faster and more efficient. Highly recommended for anyone looking to make their life easier. ... show more

Ninja products for preparing and cooking too are some of the best appliances you can get and worth the prices. I had bought one of these many years ago, but lost it after the move to our new place. This machine allows you to chop vegetables and other foods at your own pulse power. Longer pulse, meaning if you press and hold the top longer, will achieve smaller chopping. It is powerful, very easy to use, and easy to clean with caution. All blades are sharp and this is no exception, when it comes to rinsing the blade or cleaning, but this small chopper wonderfully does the chopping and gets rinsed smoothly. The bottom rubber base is very good in keeping it in place, and blades chop in seconds. People often think smaller choppers are not worth the money, but this one gives you a very good amount chopped and done for meal making and more (See the size next to the 2-cup measuring glass) Cut harder and longer vegetables, like carrots before putting in the chopper. Remember this one is a small chopper and you can fit the right amount in the container if you cut the vegetables a little. Don't forget to put the lid on before putting the motor top and start chopping. We are very happy with this chopper. ... show more

  • Great Chopper but Learn to pulse lightly
Color: Gray
So I had a GE chopper that is similar in design that was 20 years old that had the plastic part crack so I figured lets see whats out there. The price seemed reasonable, especially if it will last me another 20 years. What a difference 20 years has made. This chopper is so much better in so many designs. I have only used it for a few things but all of them tested great. I did not even bother to read any instructions. Just rinsed it off and started chopping. First threw in a handful of almonds. Almost instantly it turned them into almond dust. Not sure what to do with almond dust, i threw in stick of softened butter and a few drops of honey and a few seconds later I had almond butter. Tastes pretty good. You could do this with cinnamon and sugar and butter and have great spread for toast.. Then I figured i would try it out on ice. Just in case you are not supposed to chop ice i used crushed ice from fridge. In a few pulses i had snow-cone ice. Or just finely crushed ice for any ice cold drink like a coke or margarita. I chopped some onions for an omelet. Instant onion relish. I even had leftover hamburger that i heated up and threw in it with a few squirts of mustard and i had a hamburger dip. The only thing i would say to new users is that it chops like really fast. If you want chopped nuts for ice cream or candied apple just one or two light pulse and look at the nuts. if you hold it down for more then 10 seconds you will end up with nut dust. Same with anything. If you want lightly chopped onions like for hot dogs, just a few pulses. If you hold down for long you will end up with onion relish. I has some left over broccoli that I mixed with onions and some seasoning and a little sour cream and made a great tasting dip. i like stevia drops for sweetener. I wanted a sweet chocolate low sugar treat. I added in almond milk some powdered cocoa and some stevia drops up to the top blade. added a little crushed ice and blended it. in seconds I had a sweet low calorie chocolate drink. The blade goes in and out easily. Be careful cause if you don't watch what you are doing when handling it will likely cut you. The container with anti-slip bottom is great. You can take what you chopped and close the top and throw the entire thing in the fridge. As far as durability who knows until you use if for a few years, but it seems pretty sturdy and easily cleaned. I have watched the Ninja commercials for years. Not sure this is the same company, but this thing really is great. Going to enjoy making so many things. Thinking of so many purees and soups that it will help make. ... show more

  • Powerful and Consistent Chopping Here
Color: Gray
I'm very happy with this little processor. I bought this to replace a 3-Cup Cuisinart processor that had served me well for nearly a decade of use before finally giving up. After reading the positive reviews, I thought...why not? I had a large dinner coming up, which meant a lot of onion-, tomato- and celery-dicing. I've owned the Ninja Bullet blender for a couple of years, so I hoped the Express Chopper would pack the same powerful punch. I was not disappointed but let me share one caveat -- don't go wild chopping or you'll end up with a pulverized product. Instead, "pulse" the large button on the top. A few short bursts is all you need to finely mince a large onion. The key to the Ninja Chopper's success is four staggered blade, each one approximately 1/2-inch above the one below. The blade configuration eliminates uneven chopping that can happen in processors that only have blades at the bottom. The power and the blade configuration are excellent, but that's not even what I like the best about this littlest Ninja product. The best part is the lid that fits on the chopping container and allows you to chop without getting the underside of the motor part messy. The lid has a small hole in the top, which allows the motor assembly to fit directly on the blade assembly. After chopping, lift off the motor and you'll find a little flip-lid that closes to seal the food you've just chopped. This little unit ground blanched almonds into smooth almond paste in under 30 seconds, and that includes the time it took to remove the lid and scrape down the sides with a small silicone spatula. As I said - pulse only unless you're looking to make something like almond paste/butter. It also performed well when I made homemade mayonnaise. Smoother than my blender makes it. The blades lift out for easy cleaning. I've found that a quick rinse in hot water is usually sufficient if I need to use the chopper again. One last cool feature -- the non-slip base on the food container. It protects the bottom of the chopper and prevents it from sliding across your counter when chopping. All-in-all, I like the Ninja Express Chopper even better than my dearly departed Cuisinart chopper. I cook a lot and this makes food preparation so much simpler. I've only had this little chopper for about a month, so I'll come back and update in six months, or so, but I've had so much luck with my Ninja Bullet blender and I use it almost everyday, so I don't foresee any motor problems with the chopper. I highly recommend this little power-packed chopper. ... show more
