I've got lots of knives of various sizes and compositions, some very expensive, some not so very, but this little scalpel of a paring knife is the pick of the lot for what it is and does. You will absolutely lose a fingertip with almost no effort if you aren't careful. I'd show you the picture but I can barely stand to look at it myself...gruesome...literally. Now that I know its dangers I get a frisson of excitement every time I know I get to use it because it is a tool of exquisite craftsmanship and utility. I ordered this knife to replace one that was many years old. I love these knives, the size is great, the blade cuts precisely. Do watch out, this knife is very sharp. A good thing... but easy to knick your finger when peeling or cutting pulp out of a piece of fruit or vegetable.
