I put a boot tray on the bottom shelf to protect the wire rungs...and I also only installed one of the shelves so I'd have more height between shelves for boots on the boot tray...worked perfectly! Pros: I was able to assemble the unit by myself. Everything was labeled making it easy to follow the instructions. It looks nice and perfectly fits my needs (entryway storage for my jacket, purse, keys, backpack, dog leash and harness, and the few pairs of shoes I wear the most). Cons: While the labels helped with assembly, I spent a significant amount of time pulling the stickers and the adhesive off of each piece. I wasn’t able to use the provided tool to attach the hooks as the pilot holes seemed too shallow. A drill solved the problem. Be sure not to tighten any of the screws until putting everything together!! ... show more

Love this! Easy to put together, very sturdy and perfect height. I love clearing up my entryway by keeping my shoes organized on the shelves and my scarves on the hooks.
