I usually only write reviews when I'm unhappy with a product but this coat rack is fantastic. It's incredibly sturdy with a wide base to prevent tipping, but my favorite aspect was the easy assembly. Unlike most self-assembled furniture the pieces come in labeled bags so you don't have to differentiate nearly-identical pieces throughout assembly. Pros: easy assembly, beautiful color (I got turquoise), extremely sturdy, perfect size Cons: screws are hard to align and it's easy to put them in wrong [my screwdriver scooped plenty of metal from the drive of the cheap screws but they're still very functional, far from stripped], the metal screws stand out against the color of the coat rack Overall it's exactly what I'd hoped for and I'm extremely pleased. It was super easy to assemble. Looks really good in my childrens rooms with coats, hats and backpacks on it. Really good for the price. Nicer then some I looked at for more money in store's.

I mean, you get what you pay for. It works. It looks cute once assembled. Assembly would have been a cinch, too, were it not for about a third of the holes not being quiiiiiite big enough for the screws and having to sweat and curse and force them in while being careful not to fully strip their heads and leave a jagged mess that could snag delicate fabric. (Fortunately nothing I own that is coatlike is particularly delicate.) Otherwise the instructions were quite clear! Parts are labeled on the plastic packaging. Base wobbled considerably but unscrewing some of the feet a bit got it steady. Otherwise the construction seems sound and it holds a lot of coats and hats no problem. Color is nice. ... show more

So I bought this as my other coat rack was falling over to one side when putting a heavy coat on it, problem was solved with this one. It has a nice base and does not wobble. Easy to assemble and looks rather nice. Set aside a bit of time to assemble it as there are quite a few screws and ensure you put the proper length screws in the appropriate places, the directions are simple enough. I needed something to hang/organize some internal frame and some regular backpacks from. This was PERFECT. Had a jumble of them and this worked great. Got the bigger ones at the bottom, the regular ones on the second hooks and hats and mini bags on the top ones. The metal this is made of and the welded areas seem sturdy. It is, like some have said, a bit wibbly-wobbly with nothing on it. With those heavier packs down there it stabilizes nicely. Glad I bought it. Think... "backpack tree." 😁 ... show more

Looks and is kind of flimsy in the metal thickness used but it seems to have been engineered well in that it assembles without problem and can be adjusted from the legs so it will stand straight. The four legs are a must in my opinion for stability when all hooks are used and weighted arbitrarily….meaning a mix of say a hooded pullover and a heavier winter coat opposite it. The four legs better control such a situation versus three legged. The price is good but I used rewards cash to make it better. ... show more
