I was not able to heat press 2 15 oz coffee mugs, could not close once I had the 2 mugs in the press. I had it loosened up enough but the unit would not close, I was afraid I would break the mug. The press works wonderfully. My images come out pretty nicely. I have a few small complaints. One being the sleeve. It says not to heat without a tumbler in it, so I have done so in the 20-30 times I've used it since I got it. My sleeve is already horribly bubbled, and leaves burn marks on my tumblers. I'd suggest adding a replacement to your cart along with the press. When the press is closed, if you have no timer set it will not stop beeping. If you have a timer set (I set my tumblers for 30 seconds) it will beep until you open it and reset the timer. So while you're heating the press up, it's a constant game of opening and closing the press. A Minor inconvenience, but it would definitely be nice to have a non timed setting. Certain pressure settings do not work. There are 2 knobs that adjust the width of the opening, and to get it wide enough for a 22 oz was a pain. It says it can do up to 30 oz, but I don't see how. The knobs get caught on the handle, so you can't open it all the way. The gloves that come with really don't work. My fingers get burnt every single time. The tape is great, it's the stuff I normally use and I LOVE it. The paper is a nice back up to my favorite brand, but I'm partial to my own paper. All in all, I like what the press produces. Heats up very fast I love that you can do coffee mugs in it as well I had an issue with tumblers that get smaller at the bottom, worked best on tumblers that are one size top to bottom Works great and I would recommend especially for a beginner because the price is really good

Better than cheaper versions you can get at hobby stores, easily. However, I don't think this will actually fit a 30oz tumbler without a bit of a struggle, and definitely not if the tumbler has a handle. Heats up fast and evenly, I had no issues with any of the uniform width tumblers I used. Tumblers that taper down at the bottom to fit cupholders will work fine as well, as long as it doesn't have a "dip" towards the bottom to fit the cupholder. I HIGHLY recommend watching videos on how to use one of these, as it's instructions aren't very clear.
