I had been using a Cricut press that I had to sit on to get enough pressure as I'm a small lady. Well it overheated and died on the first shirt of a 30 shirt order. So I finally pulled the trigger on a real press and after lots of searching and looking at reviews I decided to go with this one. I got it yesterday and put it straight to work. It's not as heavy as it needs to be, but it works. I just wish they had added more weight to it so you wouldn't need to apply as much pressure. The included base should also have a wider edge to ensure the edge doesn’t get hot when the unit is heated. The unit functions as intended, but it requires some know-how to avoid mistakes. I have tried and tried to get myself to like this press. Maybe it's good for the price but that's about it. It consistently applies uneven pressure. You can see in the attached photo how the top screws go way down on one side but not the other. This means I have to rotate my shirts to get both sides complete. I also have to really increase the heat and time for all my transfers. The fact that it doesn't come with covers is annoying because the foam mats never stay in place, the cord is way too close so to the mat, etc. I feel like I spend more time trying to get my hoodies on there than I should. I also had to bolt it down to two 2x4's because the top would literally just fall over when I was swinging it out. Now, the nob to tighten the pressure feels threaded and makes a scraping sound. It's probably because the bottom always pops out of the base. I've had this for a little over two months and think it's about to go belly up already. I've requested a refund but we will see if it happens since I'm out of the window to return. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Main press Works Great! Heats up a little slow compared to my other heart presses but it's accurate heat, large pressing area and is easy to lock down with a really bad shoulder. Was going to get the Cricut Auto press but this one had a bigger area to press. Was worth the money I guess. Just wish it hated up a little faster. Haven't tried all the other press parts yet but it all looks made nice. Would but again. Love the color and that it swings all the way around if you need it too and gets out of your way so you don't get burned. ... show more
