  • Fantastic tool
This is my first experience with DTF heat transfers to T-shirts. The machine worked flawlessly and was super easy to use. I highly recommend it. I was going to farm out the transfer job to a graphics company, but the very reasonable price of this unit allowed me to complete the job for less money. AND, I'm excited about doing other projects to augment my income. It's really fun. ... show more

  • Best value, worked flawlessly
I am in a costumed heavy metal band and wanted to make our own shirts to give away at our shows. We sell screen printed more expensive T's but wanted to make some heat pressed T's to throw from the stage. This was not available for Prime shipping but surprisingly arrived in only 3 days after ordering. It's heavy and the box is a bit awkward. The box had some pretty ugly damage so I was worried at first. Opening the box top I could see that the protective foam was busted and was really worried now. Pulling the foam from the box I could see that machine is actually very well protected. It had no damage whatsoever and looked great. I set up a sturdy work table and powered it up. It heated up quickly to 250 degrees. I changed the setting to 350 and placed a T shirt on the press. You should be very careful to not touch the shirt tag to the top hot plate at any time. The tag will stick to it. The t shirt tends to get caught on the front corners of the bottom plate and the rubber piece will lift up. After a couple attempts you will get good at avoiding this. I placed the transfer in the center chest area and placed the included Teflon over it. You want to be careful not to burn your hand but still get the Teflon over the transfer without bumping the transfer out of place. Also make sure the Teflon is all the way to the back, covering the shirt tag from touching the hot plate. I adjusted the tension a bit tighter and closed press. The timer was set to ten seconds, I went 15 and opened it up. Peel the transfer backing off quickly and it tears don't fight it. Simply place the Teflon back over it and heat it up again, then peel that piece off. It won't affect the uncovered area of transfer, in fact it will remove any wrinkles making it nice and smooth. When removing the finished shirt do not let the transfer touch itself or it can stick together and peel parts off. If your transfer is crooked you can stretch the area in the direction you need by pulling the shirt in the direction needed to level it out. Notice on most t shirts there is a center line down the middle for lining up your transfer. This heat press was $209 and appears to be the least expensive of this type on Amazon. The others are $250 + and not much more improved, so I highly recommend this one. I hope it lasts a long time, so far it has worked perfectly. ... show more

  • Great heat press!
I was a little leery about getting this heat press because of the low price (compared to others)...but I am SO glad that I bought this heat press! I had read other reviews about this model and they were favorable. Oh my! This press works so well. Heats up fast and evenly. I have a heat gun reader and the temps show consist. It's sturdy, heavy and easy to use. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • So much fun and easy to use
I had never used a machine like this before. It was very easy to learn and fun to use. We bought a cart from Harbor Freight to sit it on for ease of moving it around and storage. I donated it to our church so I'm sure there will be many years of enjoyment out of it to come. The cart makes it much easier to maneuver any item you want to put a transfer on, much better than putting it on a table. Be careful, because it does get very hot. I also like it because when you got your timer and temperature set, it stayed there even when you turned it off and back on. Loved that feature. Also, when putting transfers on t-shirts, I put parchment paper inside the t-shirt so the transfer would not go through to the back, just in case. On a button down shirt, I didn't not need to used the parchment paper, only the cover paper that came with the machine (white). It worked great! ... show more

  • Love it!
So far this works really well and it’s just the right size. I love that it lifts up and not a swing around. This is very easy to use. The only thing is that the temp does drop down a bit. My old one never changed by itself. The timer is great too!

  • Easy and Efficient!
I have been reading reviews and watching videos about heat presses for months before I decided on this one. First of all, I'm a crafter, not a business. I make things for family and friends and when I charge it's usually for materials only. So that being said, I also want to say in the picture you will see my very first project with htv vinyl AND a heat press. I've never done an iron on/htv vinyl project nor have I used a heat press before now. This heat press was SO easy! Settings were extremely easy and my project on a canvas bag turned out awesome. All you basically have to do is turn it on, set the heat to desired number, set the timer to desired number, put your bag or shirt or whatever on the pad, push the handle down and when it's done it will beep. Release the handle, let the fabric cool for a minute and then peel off the layer of plastic and your transfer is there! I also used the parchment paper that came with the press to place over the bag. I've seen people use this without it in videos, but I chose to use it since it came with the press. Overall this is a great little machine. Doesn't come with a lot of instructions, google will be your friend when it comes to setting temperature and timer depending on fabric and type of vinyl. ALSO there's a flyer in the box with Fancierstudio Facebook page. They have videos that I watched before I attempted to use this heat press, plus they have troubleshooting videos with easy fixes. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase! ... show more
