This heat press is really good but you have to know a few things before you buy if you want to learn how to use it and more importantly not be tied down to using only HTVRONT products because they don't say it on the descriptions. Ive been decorating garments for 15 yrs and have worked on every heat press imaginable this is a great option for people just getting started with t-shirt printing/decorating but pros can use it too. Before you make anything that your going to resell. Please do a lot of testing and get your own system and settings that fit your shop. Cons: My biggest issue with this heat press is that there is NO button or option for "Pressure". Normally films tell you the time, temp & pressure. There is none so how are you going to press anything if you cant put the pressure up or down? Lucky for me and for whoever reads this review I figured that out: Example: DTF/HTF is normally 320 temp / 15 sec / heavy pressure / hot peel On this heat press you would have to go: 320 temp/ 30 sec / no pressure / cold peel. I really like this press. It's not just beautiful to look at, it's very user friendly. It's easy to understand with clear instructions and setting the time and temp is quick. Both the auto and manual options work as described with clear understanding. I used a press pillow to sublimate slates and they came out great. Because the machine is programed for auto pressure, you need to use press pillows according to your substrate. The only con was that it only goes as high as 199 seconds so the auto feature was pointless as I had to redo a second press to complete a 400 second press for the slates. ... show more

This is a very cool heat press. I will use it a lot to save my shoulder when using my other one. Snd while I'm giving it 5 stars, it wont handle all my work. For shirt that i heat press with small thin designs, it doesn't do a good job. The pressure just is not enough. I even did the tricks peopke said and still wasn't good. There were a couple reviews that specifically talked about pressing DTF so I was a little skeptical about purchasing this, but I pressed 10 shirts today and so far so good. I did notice that I need to cold peel instead of warm peel, which I haven’t had to do before but all in all it turned out fine. I also pressed puff HTV vinyl, and it came out great. This is my third heat press and I have to say I absolutely love it. The first one I bought was clam shell and I sold it and got the 5 in 1 press and hated the inconsistency in time and temperature not to mention the inconvenience of the swing away arm and manual pressing. This one is super simple. The tray pulls out so you can easily line up whatever you're working on and then you slide it back in and hit the press button.
