This is a heavy duty tarp, but grommets aren't- a few came loose as I was attaching it to bunny cords. Also, it's not really 13 feet long - more like 12. I was disappointed because I needed 13 feet.

We have a wood shed that is about 20 feet by 3 feet but 6 ft high and we needed to cover the sides of it. I cut the tarp in half and put half on each side and it worked perfectly!

As I removed the Tezong tarp from the packaging a loose grommet fell out of the package. I found the empty hole where it had been. The grommet clearly had not been properly installed on the tarp. That was disappointing. But the greater problem was this: I needed a 10 mil thick tarp for strength and durability. I have quite a few tarps for a variety of purposes and this one, advertised as 10 mil, seemed unusually thin as I removed it from the packaging. To make matters worse, two of the grommet holes, where the grommets had not already fallen out, immediately elongated under the moderate strain of a bungee cord. The damage from the bungee added to my suspicion that the tarp was not as advertised and I concluded that the damage would not have happened if the tarp was 10 mil thick. To be absolutely certain, I checked the thickness with a micrometer and, sure enough, IT IS NOT 10 mil thick. I have other tarps that are 10 mil so it was easy to take a measurement with a micrometer and compare this tarp to an actual 10 mil tarp. The micrometer and comparison to other tarps revealed that this tarp is only 5 mils thick. It's half the thickness, presumably half the strength and durability, but comes with all of the price and expectations associated with a 10 mil thick tarp. If you need a 10 mil tarp (and I do) you will find them elsewhere for this price. If you are willing to settle for a lighter duty 5 mil tarp, you can buy one for significantly less money. And the grommets might not fall out. Stay away from this one! Would you buy a new car at full price with half the tires or half the paint? ... show more

I'm using this as a boat cover for a boat in the water. Thickness is about half of the previous tarp I had on there and was way less than I expected from the description. I don't believe it's 10 mil. I've already stretched a couple of grommets with the bungee cords, so have switched to sandbag weights to lessen the load. So far it's holding up OK. ... show more
