  • Tst scooter not for adults for kids
Big PROBLEM.... there's no iphone app for this scooter which leaves it locked in medium speed mode. TST Ebike states that app is being updated and "should" be available in 2 to 3 weeks. This is not acceptable. Advertised as 500 watt motor, manual reads 350 watt. Advertised as 260 pound load limit, manual reads 220. Advertised as 25 mph, manual reads 15 mph. Incline ability is different as well, much less than advertised I just can't recall the numbers. I still like the look and the sturdy feel of this scooter, but with the above issues I will not keep this. I bought it on the advertised specs and without an app, it dosen't really matter how sturdy it is. It is useless. In cold days scooter start shutdown on me every 5 minutes which is unexpected ... show more

  • An amazing scooter
The TST electric scooter is a fantastic electric skateboard! It's a blast to ride. It offers sufficient speed to get you where you need to go, with ample safety features: a very bright front headlight, turn signals, and a flashing brake light, ensuring your safety and visibility to pedestrians and other vehicles on the road. In fact, the foldable feature of the TST electric scooter is a huge advantage, as it fits perfectly in my car's trunk. So, I can take my scooter anywhere, which is something I started doing because I love riding it everywhere, and I don't want to be without it. The scooter's materials feel anything but cheap, quite the opposite, and its design is sleek and stylish. The battery life of the TST electric scooter is fantastic. I ride this scooter all around town, to friends' houses, grocery stores, and more, but I've never ridden it to half battery. The 19-mile range is more than enough to take you wherever you want to go and back in the local area. One thing I'd like to add is the ability to adjust the handlebar height. The standard height works well for me, but my father found it a bit too high and awkward. The only minor issue I can think of is that the scooter struggles a bit when going uphill with a rider. I weigh 130 pounds, and I noticed the scooter slowing down and crawling uphill before it seemed like it might give up. A 20% maximum incline feels like a rather generous stretch. It seems more like 8-15%. Setting aside this minor concern, the design of this scooter is excellent ... show more

  • A Closer Look at the TST Electric Scooter's Shortcomings
The media could not be loaded. The TST Electric Scooter, at first glance, seems like a modern solution for the urban commuter, boasting a design that should slice through the city's hustle. Yet, when put to the test, its top speed is a mere shadow of the advertised 25 mph. Hovering around 15-16 mph, it underdelivers, squashing any hopes of a swift, wind-in-your-hair kind of journey. The braking system, meant to be a scooter's safety backbone, also leaves much to be desired. Beyond the disappointing speeds, the brakes start to protest with a cacophony of noise once you push past a gentle cruise, undermining the rider's confidence. The built-in light, too, is a letdown; it casts a beam too short for safe travel, providing insufficient illumination for spotting obstacles in time to brake safely. This flaw turns night rides into a risky endeavor, where the unseen bumps in the road become real hazards. Regarding build quality, the term "budget-friendly" would be an overstatement. The scooter's components and overall construction give off a sense of fragility that doesn't bode well for longevity. The materials don't seem to stand up to the rigors of regular use, suggesting that the journey with this scooter may be shorter-lived than expected. In the final analysis, the TST Electric Scooter is a package of unmet promises. Its speed, noise levels, and unsafe lighting in combination with questionable build quality make it a tough sell. For those seeking a reliable and safe electric scooter, it might be wise to consider other avenues. The search for the perfect urban ride continues, with the TST Scooter unfortunately not making the cut. ... show more

  • No Android App, Not Exactly as Advertised
Scooter came well packaged. Assembly is really only 1 step for attaching the handle bars. The screw holes were not really tapped out correctly but I was still able to assemble it. Big PROBLEM.... there's no android app for this scooter which leaves it locked in medium speed mode. I bought it on the advertised specs and without an app, it dosen't really matter how sturdy it is. It is useless. 12/21/23 Update.. Finally found out that I don't need the app to change the speeds. Rode it today, speed was 13 or so on high. Not as advertised but it'll do for what I need. Raised the rating to 3 stars. ... show more

  • King of value for money!!
From now on, I'm using this motorcycle. It's really a great choice in heavy traffic. I love riding it to work, for shopping, or just cruising around the park every day. It's so cool and saves me a lot of time. This is my first scooter, and I did a lot of research before deciding to get one. I love it and have no regrets. It's safe as you can reach 23 miles per hour, not too slow and not too fast. The battery takes 4 hours to charge and lasts 2-3 days. I always recommend the TST scooter to anyone looking for something simple and lightweight for strolls in the summer or spring. Remember to wear a helmet to ensure safety. So, if you're looking for a mode of transportation that can save you money on your budget and avoid crazy high gas prices, go for it. ... show more
