The vent mount attachment worked because the length had flexibility to make installing it smooth. The telescopic on the other part of the mount was a little shorter than I'd expected. I got this for my husband for his birthday. I remember having a suction car phone holder before and disliked it because the suction kept coming off but this one is absolutely great. Im not exactly sure how it goes on because my husband put it on but he said you suction it to the dash or window and then twist and it hasn't fallen off once since he has put it on. He has now started looking into other products that suction cup like this. It is a very sturdy product made of plastic I believe. The suction cup started separating from the base after like 6 months. I gorilla-glued it back together & it worked for about 2 days, then the suction just didn't work anymore.
