This one so far is the best option for my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 The cd mount ones fall off quickly. This one is at the best placement compared to all that I have tried cost is great. Quality is great. Easy to adjust. It holds the phone even in a thick case perfectly. It also grasps cords, keeping them out of the way. Well, this is an updated review of this product and it's going to be quite a bit different than the original. I owned a beautiful 2007 Lexus RX 350 which was Flint Mica in color (Darkish Grey) and from a few feet away looked like a brand new vehicle. And then it was totalled. My wife was driving "Lexi" to work one morning when some guy blew through the intersection as she was turning and that was the end of my RX. After contacting insurance we were instructed to remove all person belongings from the vehicle so we rounded up a couple of boxes and filled them with sunglasses, travel mugs, floor mats, garage door opener, etc. When we removed this phone holder from the dash it was kind of stuck. When it came off it removed a large section of the dash board covering. I'm guessing that whatever is used on the bottom side of this product to make it non-slide, had gotten heated up in the hot summer sun and the holder had become somewhat "glued" to the dashboard. Had the vehicle been repaired I may have had to deal with the dash on my own and after filling the damaged area would have had to glue the holder permanently in the same location in order to make the repair appear seemless. This phone holder did it's job flawlessly for over a year. It firmly held to the dash and never slipped, and our cell phones are on the larger side (LG Stylo 5 and Stylo 6), both in cases. The phones never once were ejected from the stand while driving. I would purchase this product again without any reservation BUT... I would make certain to remove it from the dash each and every time I got out of the car while having to leave it in the direct sunlight. I would recommend this practice to everyone. When taking your phone from the holder, just grab the holder and stick it in the console or place it on the floor until you return. We have recently had to purchase a newer car for my wife, a 2013 Lexus CT200h, and have purchased a different type of phone holder for "Lisa". I will hold onto this phone holder for future use when I am able to purchase another vehicle for myself. It's really a nice product and I liked the way it looked in my RX. I have nothing negative to say about this product other than to be aware of the potential of heat issues. ... show more

This simple, inexpensive, and easy to use cell phone holder does not slide around and holds the phone in place. It is more reliable than the suction type holders. You do not have to fiddle-faddle with levers and hope the suction does not come loose. Put the Loncaster in place and drive on.
