It holds the phone very securely and the attachment to the vent is a little tricky but not too hard. Works well but you need to use 2 hands to get it in place. When not in use, it self-folds to a minimal size. Clever and stylish design. It does not block cables or buttons. This holder does everything it claims....seems reasonably well manufactured and is very easy to put your phone in and out which is NEW to me cuz the "gripper" types require both hands and half the time I have items or something or opening the door etc. I heartily recommend this product.

Lasted less than 8months.. cheap plastic part broke inside of the ac so It would be an hassle to take that out too. Smh

This product is a hard one for me to rate because I like its functionality as a phone holder very much, but it does not work for my vehicles. I very much like the mechanical functionality of this product and how it naturally adjusts and holds onto your phone in response to placing it in the holder. It's also very solid mechanically. It doesn't appear to have issues with the moving parts being inhibited by internal friction or cold environments. On the other hand and unfortunately for me, the attachment to the car vent louvers is not very solid on my vehicle. The attachment piece does not extend deeply enough into the vent, past the outer set of louvers, to grab the interior set of louvers and, thereby, stablize the product while it hangs from the vent. It hangs rather loosely. The hanging is worsened by inserting a phone. Because the outer louvers are not especially tight on my older vehicle, they fall when they try to bear the weight of the mount, and that problem is only worsened by inserting my phone. Before I bought the unit, I saw one reviewer remark on the same issue. I didn't pay it much mind. I thought that the attachment would suffice on my vehicle, and I was (and still am) enamored of the phone mounts mechanical functionality for holding the phone. I was wrong on that issue. Fits so-so in my car's air vent (red screw tab will not catch for anything, no matter how much I try to adjust it) but the mount still remains securely in place with cell phone attached, so it's a non-issue thus far. I use with my Z Fold 4 in both open and closed positions, again with no issues. The design makes for easy plug and use of power cable for charging and for landscape and portrait positioning of the phone. It doesn't have wireless charging capability so it's somewhat overpriced for what it is: a fairly basic car mount for the cell phone. ... show more
