  • Perfect Mini Fry Pan/Lid for Trangia 28 Pot
I could not find a Trangia 28 set, so I build a set one piece at a time. Unless you are replacing part of the size 28 set or building your own you can probably find a cheaper frying pan. Maybe not better made, but cheaper. This completed the set I will use for solo camping with the Scouts. We've converted from patrol style group cooking to individual cooking in order to follow social distance guidelines while still getting out to camp. ... show more

  • Perfect for hiking
Lightweight, way smaller than your pan at home, but perfect for hiking. If you are able to make things stick to this pan, it just speaks volumes of your cooking skills... You need a fairly wide pot / cooking system to nestle this with, but it really disappears in your pack if packed right anyways. No handle included, so use your old one. (Or Trangia makes one). Super lightweight, weighs in at 1/6 of my old pan @75g, so lol @ my good ol pan for that. So; If you are hungry, you might have to fry up a couple of times, which should be no problem if you chose the right campsite... I give it two thumbs up and 5 stars. ... show more

  • Tiny and not very functional
This thing is tiny. Too tiny for me. As a fry pan, I can barely cook one egg on it and had to cut my bacon in thirds to fit. It also has no handle so you’ll need something to hold it with when it’s hot so that will add to the overall weight. As a plate, it is also not functional. It’s not worth the hassle, not even for ultralight backpacking. I’d rather pack something a bit larger and heavier that isn’t such a pain to use. ... show more

  • Economical and does what it's supposed to do.
I bought an expensive non-stick Evernew titanium pan. I stuck and egg the first time I used it and haven't had any luck with it since. What a waste of money. Usually I really like Evernew though. just not that pan. This one is not only cheaper but it actually works! :-)

  • Great little pan!
Love this little fry pan! It is just the right size for making a loaf of bannock on the trail, for cooking up some eggs, or as I discovered last weekend for heading up cheese for some campfire fondue! It is non-stick so cleanup is a breeze. Just be aware that the other items shown in the picture do not come with the pan - you will need to also purchase a pot lifter/handle to go along with it unless you happen to have fingers made out of metal. ... show more

  • Good camping pan
Light weight, very sturdy, the non-stick surface is great, very easy to clean. I took one star off because the handle doesn't latch on.

  • Will require a pan grip
It is truly non stick. Light weight sure, but requires a pan grip style tool to truly utilize it's benefits
