Water has been gushing out of the air gap for awhile now so I thought this item might help. It fits snugly over the air gap. A bit of water seeps out underneath but most of it now runs down the ramp and into the sink. I may try some Teflon tape to stop the leak. My old one had broke and was leaking all over the back of my sink this new one directs it 99% into the sink I still get a little bit of leaking at the base but nothing like before

It was my only option for a gap cover. Very cute and matches my decor, however it still leaks on my sink. Not as much as before, but it’s not as bad as it used to be. I plan on following the advice of fellow reviewers and grabbing some sealant to seal off the leakage.

Great idea. Ordered it when my air gap line to the garbage disposal got blocked and water overflowed and damaged my under sink area. (I use the time delay on the dishwasher to take advantage of lower electrical rates after midnight, hence did not catch the problem right away) This is a great solution and really works. But a second sink I ordered this for had a fancier air gap and the device would not fit. If you do not have a screw on top for your air gap this will probably fit. Never got around to trying it. It wouldn't fit over any air gap I had. In order for this to work, it needs to be airtight, but this is a 3d printed piece of plastic that is far from precise and water will just flow out from under it onto the countertop still. Concept is good, but was just done too cheaply. Rather expensive for what it is as well ... show more
