The two oven knobs on a 2005 Bluestart Oven model RNB606GSS (60" oven) at the Church I go to were loose, so bought this kit. One of the oven knobs had I believe an original insert in it while the other one had a green insert that was worn out. I tried the new green inserts from this kit, and they were OK but still somewhat loose, so I then tried the red inserts and they fit very tightly - tough to get the knob onto the shaft, but after getting it fit, the knob was very tight to the shaft. This kit is inexpensive, but it is nice to have the different knobs/dimensions to get the perfect fit. Thanks!! ... show more

    • Pro Tip: buy some Vicegrip pliers instead
This item has a high return rate for a reason: great concept but poor production. We have a late 70s era stack electric range/microwave combo (GE) that we are rehabbing. The kit comes with knobs with various adapter sleeves to fit many different brands, depending on the type and size of stems on you dial. I felt like Goldilocks trying to find the adapter that was just right. None fit the stems well; gray was closest. Then, I tried to fit the sleeve into the knobs. They would not fit at all except one and it would not fully seat into the knobs. That is when I started looking for the instructions (I am a man, afterall, so...). Only, there were ZERO INSTRUCTIONS. I went back to the parts looking for alignment guides on the parts themselves. None found. So save yourselves a lot of frustration and buy a nice set of miniature matching Vicegrip locking pliers. Yes, not as decorative, I know, but 1000 times more effective. ... show more

I was looking to replace knobs on a Magic Chef apartment range. The knobs, although not original in appearance fit and work just fine. As they were universal to many makes the kit had more than I needed for my stove. I was able to match my knobs operation without issue and fit in the proper insert to fit the knob to the stove.     • It fits the stove, and it's practically foolproof.
If you need new knobs, this will do the trick. It comes with a bunch of extra fittings that you'll just end up throwing away, but that means you don't have to worry about ordering the wrong connector, and installation was zero effort at all.     • They are problematic for stove switches that need to be pushed in before turning
These are pretty cheap looking to go with their low price. Also, they do not appear to be particularly robust. However, they do come with plenty of plastic adapters. But for me, what was fatal was that they were not able to operate a switch that first demanded the depression of the spring loaded stem of the switch in order to turn it. I saw that a lot of other reviewers said they needed to modify the handles in order to push down and turn the knobs, but that wasn't the case for me. I was able to use all the knobs as they were supposed to be used. The only knob that wouldn't push down was the oven control knob, but luckily that one doesn't need to be pushed down for me. The only modification I needed was additional glue for the stickers as the glue on the stickers kind of sucks but I expected that. Overall these knobs work and look great! ... show more

I bought the AMI PARTS Electric Range Burner Knob Kit KN002 RKE Universal Electric Range Oven Knob to replace the broken knobs on my stove. I was very disappointed with the quality and fit of these knobs. They are made of cheap plastic that cracks easily and they don't fit snugly on the shafts. They wobble and slide off when I try to adjust the temperature. They also don't match the original knobs at all. They look like they belong to a different appliance. I do not recommend this product to anyone who wants to fix their stove. It is a waste of money and time. ... show more
