A product such as cooktop knobs should be really easy to get right, but that is often not the case. The original knobs in my 15 year old Bosch cooktop, model NGM3054UC, lasted only a few years and the cheap plastic construction failed. I was not going to pay a premium price for poorly designed OEM parts. I replaced the original knobs with aftermarket parts a few years ago and those also failed due to the plastic design. These W10594481 Amazon knobs fit right onto the shafts, not too tight or loose. The feel of the metal knobs is very good. These use metal around the assembly that slides over the shaft, so I'm hoping they'll last longer than a few years. The only drawback of these W10594481 Amazon knobs is that they're 90 degrees off kilter, however I knew that when buying them. I was unable to find any knobs that would point up/down instead of pointing left/right. You can see the orientation in the photos. ... show more

Less than 6 months of use and one of the knobs is already losing its finish as you see in the picture. There is no contact from the manufacturer, so there is nothing to do. Heads up for those thinking to buy this brand.

    • one was scratched
I ended up ordering two sets because the first one had a scratched knob in it so I ordered a second batch. The second batch had one where the two parts come together were lifted. I picked out the best 5 of the 10 and sent the rest back for a refund. I then taped the metal parts put 2 coats of rustoleam clearcoat paint on them to protect them from scratching. This worked perfectly and now I have great heavy duty knobs. I agree with all of the other reviewers that these are a touch darker, but look nicer and they are WAY more heavy duty than the ones that came with my cooktop. They fit on Wcg51us6ds00. ... show more

Replaced the cheap original plastic knobs with these on my Whirlpool stove top. These are metal knobs and have a nice weight to them. Great upgrade, slipped right on the valve stem.

    • Fits great but seems to be losing finish on the top!
They fit correctly. They appear to be developing scratch marks in the gray material on the top of the handles. If it gets any worse and wipes of on the other handles, I may need to find a different set of handles and return these. They operate well and fit correctly but , the finish shouldn’t rub off when you clean them with a damp cloth. ... show more
