I bought it back in October and promptly left the country for six weeks. Now that the weather is warming up my kiddo and I have spent the last week jumping this over snowbanks and just abusing the heck out of it. I'm pretty sure it's indestructible. The only issue we had was right after I bought it, something slipped--because going full throttle while it's upside down isn't great for the gears. Tightened it back up and hasn't been an issue since. It bounds through grass like a puppy. It's just a beast and a joy to play with. Way better than my 1990's rc experience 🤣 ... show more

I bought this RC car as my first, because the V2 of this is what the internet recommended. Supposedly hard to break, fast, fun, great for the price point. The only difference apparently being that this comes with a brushed motor while the V2 comes with a brushless. I thought I'd at least get a couple dozen runs out of it. It can't be that fragile, right? Well, after maybe three battery runs the motor stopped working. In all honesty, I was awful at driving it. I hit everything, but at least not at full speed haha. The picture should show the result of my ineptitude; the brushes fell apart inside and made it worthless. So I've purchased replacement parts and now I can at least try to fix it. Which is the second part of the RC appeal to me. So if you are a new RC buyer, don't do what I did. Spend the extra money and buy the newer version. I thought I'd save $40, but spent an extra $100 on the broken part replacement and then some. ... show more
