Description

T-Maxx has become the world's best-selling Ready-To-Race nitro monster truck by climbing, jumping, and ripping through terrain that others simply wouldn't attempt. The TRX 3.3 racing engine makes broad, linear power practically anywhere in the RPM range. Brutal torque rips massive wheel-standing launches to soar past 45mph! Traxxas Stability Management allows arrow-straight acceleration on slippery surfaces, without fishtailing, spinouts, or loss of control. The large dual-stage air filter increases air flow to the TRX 3.3 racing engine, breathing in even more horsepower and torque. The Resonator dual-chamber Maxx pipe provides increased torque across the entire RPM range. The T-Maxx 3.3 is the biggest Maxx ever. Giant Maxx tires deliver increased ground clearance and massive grip to gobble up deep ruts and overcome boulders. Maxx tires come pre-glued to 3.8" Mirror-Chrome Hurricane wheels. The extended wheelbase chassis is formed from 4mm thick 6061-T6 aluminum and then anodized in brilliant blue. Meaty chassis braces and a rugged skid plate add rigidity. The TQi 2.4GHz transmitter comes equipped with a Bluetooth module that turns your Android, iPad iPhone or iPod touch (sold separately) into a powerful tuning tool. Download Traxxas link and the factory-installed telemetry sensors collect and record real-time telemetry data as you drive. Up to nine customizable gauges keep you in tune with the performance of your vehicle. The T-Maxx 3.3 is equipped with a forward-only, auto-shifting, two- speed transmission. Extra-wide gears and steel components add strength to handle extreme TRX 3.3 power. Revo Spec center drive shafts and sealed differentials are overbuilt to handle driveline. The T-Maxx 3.3 is easy to start with the EZ-Start push-button starter and included battery with charger. The T-Maxx 3.3 is built Traxxas Tough and backed by a team of pros who can get you up and running with a simple phone call or email.

  • Buy a separate heavy duty metal Traxxas 3.0 slipper clutch pad kit when you order the truck! ($10)
The media could not be loaded. So far very easy to learn and run for 13 year old driver. I second the issue with the slipper clutch not lasting through break in tanks and we followed the procedure to the T. NO hot rodding. Order heavy duty metal slipper clutch ($10) and be prepared to change it straight away.. My 13 year old and I managed to change the clutch ourselves in less than 15 minutes without removing anything but the fuel tank. Not a big deal but we lost a couple days to get the new part which was very disappointing. Wish the truck had come with second slipper clutch as it did with air filter and glow plug. No issues 10+ tanks in with the new heavy duty metal slipper clutch. Only other issue has been that the charger for the electric start battery is with automotive 'cigarette' lighter plug only and none of our automotive plugs stay 'on' with the engine not running making it a pain to charge the device as it takes a fair while if discharged. Should have the ability to charge from standard 120V receptacle via a transformer. ... show more

  • Buy electric!!
I bought this car in December ‘21 for my husband and we have not been able to enjoy it yet. First a tire popped out-replaced, clutch broke in pieces and had to be replaced, gloplugs go out after like 10 mins-$11 a whack to replace, flips over once doesnt start again… Transmission stopped shifting again most recently…. Waste of money. We should have gone electric… Every time we go out to drive it we come home disappointed! What a waste of >$500… We aren’t gonna try anymore but guys, avoid the headache & put your money elsewhere! ... show more

  • Great RC Vehicle but Hard to Tune.
First issue I was breaking it in in my yard. The grass was pretty long which I think contributed to the slipper clutch disc disintegrating. I could start it but it did not move. The disks were completely gone. Fixed with the upgraded clutches but had a hard time tuning. I think I was running it lean stalled half way through the second tank and could not restart it. Didn't seem to have compression. Partially user error. I think I messed with the high speed mixing valve too much. Ordered a new motor and piston to rebuild the current engine. I live in Houston. It is hot and humid here. Maybe it is not the best time and place to run nitro vehicles. ... show more

  • Slipper clutch destroyed after 2 tanks.
I bought this truck to replace the one I had that got burned up in a garage fire. I was breaking in the engine as required in the manual. I made it through 2.5 tanks of fuel, the required break-in is 5 tanks, and the slipper clutch fell apart. All of the pads came off.
