  • It’s fun
This is my first hobby car other than Walmart rc cars lol. It is amazing though when the box arrived and unboxing a screw fell out of the car. I couldn’t track down where it had came from so I contacted traxxas. May ultimately try to return it as I am not as inclined nor have a work space at the moment to break down the car and decipher where the missing screw Came from. They are helping me currently through this issue. Don’t forget to buy batteries. Other than that I drove this car two times And I felt like a kid again. My boring girlfriend tried and even was cheesing cheek to cheek at the speed. Another update. Drove again and I think the gear blew as when I press the gas the rc just revs. I have only driven this car three times on a areas that is about 60x50. ... show more

  • Very realistic.
This thing has a great suspension. Looks just like a real trophy truck. The detail is awesome. Rear amber light is always on and it has a working brake light when you stop. The front lights are super bright with a high and low setting or they can be turned off completely. Love it!!

  • Awesome realism, fun to drive, NOT a basher
I love the scale realism of this truck, but it is not a basher. If that’s what you’re looking for then spend your money on something else. Failure points include the plastic, hex hubs, then, once you switch to aluminum hubs, the actual pins will sheer off and get jammed inside the hub. Swing arms are flexible but break easily. But again once you go with aluminum dragon links the top of the rear axle housing, becomes a weak point. Front lower A-arms are a pretty good design, but are also susceptible to breaking, but again if you go with aluminum A-arms, then the pin pocket in the chassis becomes a weak point. Pretty durable truck if you’re not bashing and rolling it. One wrong move and it barrel rolls you will have bent or broken drag links. To really make it durable it plan in spending as much as you do for the truck on upgrades. ... show more

  • Broke not soon after getting it out of box.
This isn’t worth the $800 price tag. It doesn’t perform as Traxxas states. They also wanted to charge me over $60 for a restocking fee. This was never said to in any way. We have bought numerous Traxxas RC cars. This one just does not live up to the hype.

  • It's a hobby truck quit complaining.
I have one of these, it is AMAZING. One warning though to people who are not familiar with the hobby, the pinion gear will slide off the motor shaft, but these traxxas trucks are made to be wrenched on. On this truck in particular, the motor is a bit buried, but if it sounds like the motor is spinning and it is not moving, it is definitely your pinion gear. No need to freak out. Just look up a video on how to fix it. It will take about a half hour to do but won't cost you anything. Other than that one problem, this thing is a beast. I have never seen a rc truck drift with offroad tires on asphalt or cement like this thing does. It is super fast, fun and reliable for everyday bashing. Traxxas trucks are the most durable out of the box trucks on the market. This thing is huge too, about the height and length of a 60# dog when they are laying down. ... show more

  • Amazing Vehicle
Phenomenal RC. My son enjoyed customizing his truck. Some weak spots, but once it’s bulletproof it’s an amazing and fun RC. Highly recommended!

  • Does not come with batteries
Thus thing is a lot of fun. Had to wait for new batteries since the connector was different from my other RC batteries
