  • Guaranteed to have tons of fun!
This buggy is fantastic. It is very durable; having run at least 20 packs through it, nothing has broken surprisingly. My main driving style is offroad "bashing" and although it may not be perfectly suited for it, it does a very good job. It has had quite a number of good crashes and it just gets back up and asks for more! It is also quite fast; on 4S it is likely the perfect power level for most people and you will have plenty of fun. On 6S this thing turns into a monster and the power is almost too much.. but thats not a bad thing lol. The only issues I've had with this RC is that when you try to run 2 battery packs, the body will not fit properly. Some people have batteries that are small enough to make it work but yours likely wont fit and you will want to buy single 4S or 6S packs for it. The other thing is not really the buggies fault but on 6S power, I cannot for the life of me get the tires to stay on the darn wheels!! It has so much power that the tires inevitably separate from the wheels; I have tried re-glueing, adding more glue, etc and so far nothing has worked. I love the Proline Badlands tires but they just can't keep up; if you plan to run 6S on this thing, you may have to invest into a set of BELTED tires for it. All in all, this thing is a blast and is definitely worth every penny! ... show more

  • Best RTR on the market
Durable, handles great, fun to drive. Track, or wherever you drive your RC car. This is the best RTR I have found.

  • Spectacular car
This is not a car for the faint of heart. It’s is big, heavy and dangerously fast. It is a very well-designed, tough car. Wholeheartedly recommend it to EXPERIENCED rc enthusiasts. Don’t get this for young kids or new drivers. But if you have been into the hobby a few years and have significant space to run it, go for it! I’ve been into the hobby off and on for 40 years and still won’t run this car in the neighborhood with kids around for fear of the damage it can do if it got away. ... show more

  • Awesome Car - Fantastic Deal
This is an amazing car that can hang with kit-builders on the outdoor race courses. I had been eyeballing this car since the summer and at $640, its a great deal if you want to dip your toe into competitive racing at less than half the cost to build from a kit and choosing electronics. I figured I would wait and see if there would be a Black Friday deal and just so happened to check on a day when the price dropped to $419 and I got one of the last few before they sold out - wish I had bought 2 since it was a steal for what you get! Even if you pay full price, this car is worth every penny - its a bit heavier than some of the kits from Associated and Tekno, but its due to being designed to also bash. You might hear some say that the electonics are so-so, but honestly, you have saved so much money, you can replace and upgrade and still come out on top. ... show more

  • Beast basher/racer with premium feel
This thing is a ton of a fun. Its tough but not for bashing recklessly. Its a great multi purpose rc that can go really fast with good control off road. Body shell wont fit my pair of 6600mah 3s batteries so I need something smaller than that. Runs good on 4s too.

  • Great race contender. Will require a Major overhaul to be competitive!
So where do I begin. For your average basher this car is a fantastic choice with it's traditional 1/8 scale buggy layout. Durability is definitely no worries for a basher as well other than the notorious shock standoffs snapping and front lower hinge pins bending in any sort or minor collision. Now for those that are looking at making the move to get into 8th scale e buggy racing. BUY IT! Tons of TLR tuning goodies on it. Receiver box is plenty big to fit a transponder as well. Now for the bad new on the racers, you will have to go through all the differentials, there are 10k R, 100k C, 10k F fluid setups on this which is a nightmare to control on a track, the tires are way to hard and wide spacing pins for any decent prepped track, shock fluids and springs are extremely stiff for major jumps on a proper track , and depending on the track you may need to go down a tooth on the pinion to get some sort of control. Once those changes are made and a good suspension setup and adjustments are set you will be in the big leagues with the other race kits and placing on podiums with a box stock car! Don't let it fool you with it's rtr label it will keep up with any major kits and will suite a beginning to a amateur driver very well! 4 star rating is due to the race ready advertising and unfortunately is not even close to it without proper knowledge ... show more
