Needed a second chair in my home office, this chair blows me away. Like buy it now. My other chair is no kidding a HM Aeron.. and I would put this chair very near equal. (granted my HM is pushing 15years old and who know if this new one will last as well..) The base is metal one piece, not as refined but definitely sturdy- only thing I might change is add some rollerblade wheels. arms adjust height and angle and lateral front to back.. lumbar is supportive but not in the way.. This chair is far better designed and executed then you would expect based on some of the reviews. My experience is this... 1) Very Easy to assemble, the instructions are almost completely unnecessary, as the screws that come with it are easy enough to identify solely on the basis of pieces (e.g. Arms take 3, base takes 4, headrest takes 2, etc). The only tool you need comes included with the screws and everything is well identified/numbered. I'm 6' 2' 200lb and am able to apply more than enough torque, and this wrench showed No Sign of 'weakening'... just don't over tighten the screws. 2) The design is Very Ergonomic, it does not have lateral adjustment on the seat itself, but the arms adjust forward/backward and 'swivel' In/Out. There is plenty of height adjustment, I have to lower it just a tad from its Highest point to maintain a 'squared off' seating position. The headrest adjusts much more than I expected based on the documentation and is Indispensable for Long Hours of work. 3) The base is made of a very sturdy steel and the black finish seems of high enough quality to last for quite some time with normal/excessive 'foot rubbing' etc. The only 'bad' thing I have to say (and the Only reason I rated this 4 stars, as it's Very Important to me, but may not be an issue for you) is that the wheels are terrible. I purchased these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KSDKZPD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 from Amazon, and they are outstanding for build quality (writing 5 star review shortly) and solve the only shortcoming I see with this chair. If you're on the fence I recommend you roll the dice... it is possible to get something were the mesh isn't attached perfectly or some other sort of manufacturing defect (which you really have no worries about as an Amazon Prime user, as they will 'make it right) as these things happen to Almost Everything manufactured these days, However if you are like me and get exactly what you paid for... you Can't go wrong! **UPDATED REVIEW** My initial review was 5*. ________________________________ Due to a disability, I have needed an ergonomic office chair for a long time, so I was extremely excited when this one fell into my price range. Once we assembled it, it was comfortable and sturdy; however, about three months later, it began leaning to one side and loosening up. My husband and I swapped chairs, and he experienced the same. Neither of us comes close to the weight limit. Worst of all, the seat back isn't fully upright; it's significantly reclined at rest, causing a painful condition that requires physical therapy. Last––The hydraulic lift pole collapsed and is too short for any of our desks. Additionally, the pole drags on our floor. We've mitigated damage to our hard floors by sticking a piece of furniture felt under it. We're disappointed. The chair now belongs to the cat until we fix or dispose it. ... show more

I really find reviews help decide whether or not a product is worth the investment… so I thank the fellow amazonees for writing reviews and feel it is my turn. This is the easiest chair I’ve ever assembled. It will go faster with 2 people though and I could had used an extra set of hands assembling the back of the chair to the bottom of the chair, but I managed fine on my own. Once all assembled, I gave it a whirl to adjust certain areas of comfort in the seat as I sit all day long and let me tell you… I wanted to fall asleep in this chair. It is the most comfortable chair with a comfort lumbar support. Never again will I go back to padded chairs nor leather chairs. Get the mesh bottom style and mesh style chairs! (It breathes a heck of a lot easier too!) So here it my review after only having this bad boy for one day. Go and get yourself this chair! I promise you will not be disappointed! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Wow! At better than I was expecting. I took a gamble here because there were no reviews. But man am I happy!! It's way better quality than I was expecting. The mesh is awesome. The bottom and most of the parts are all steel not flimsy plastic. It's very easy to put together and it comes packaged great and super protective. I'm honestly very impressed because I was not expecting much at all. Now I don't know how it will hold up overtime but I will certainly update my review. But for now I highly recommend this. I really wanted to like this chair. It has lumbar support and a neck/headrest. Breathable mesh is a serious plus. After assembly I realized I've I made a huge mistake. The bottom of this chair seat is designed about 6 inches too short. My legs are dangling with no support. It's terrible. I don't want to return it after Ive put it together but I absolutely regret this piss poor design ... show more
