  • Great beginner printer
The media could not be loaded. This is my 4th printer. It was very easy to set up. Similar to a Creality Ender. I also own an Ender 3V2, Creality CR-10 V3, and Sovol SV03. After some extensive testing with this printer, I would say it is a good beginner printer. It did not take much set up as you see in my video, but it will force you to learn about bed levelling to get that good 1st layer squish. I like the standard ABL for keeping things level. It runs a mesh check before every print automatically. There is a LED light next to the nozzle that doesn't seem to work that well. In my opinion, it's too bright for any of my cameras to see the print and too far from the nozzle to really see what's coming out. I would probably turn it off if I could. The T3 boasts a Fast print mode that gets your print up to 250mm/s. I turned this on for my first benchy and as you'll see, I had some trouble. The quality was not very good and the print kept failing. Finally, I turned off the fast mode and got 2 perfect benchy's back-to-back. I was able to quickly get a hold of a representative that gave me some pointers to make the fast mode work, but I probably won't try those as I have no real use for fast mode. I need quality and that comes slow. The filament runout sensor seems to work well, but it is a pain to feed the filament through this and the extruder head so close together. There is no dial to turn the extruder gears which makes it difficult. The flexible magnetic sheet has great bed adhesion, but is a little difficult to get some prints off. I much prefer glass or PEI and will be upgrading to one of these for this printer. I love the small profile of this printer. This will definitely become my new show printer. I can travel with this so easily. The bed and nozzle heat up quickly and stay consistent in temperatures. It printed multiple types and brands of PLAs. I am overall satisfied by this printer. Pros: Fast print mode can be tweaked Small profile FAST set up Good bed leveling Sturdy build Quality prints Cons: Fast mode prints low quality No extruder gear dial Filament hard to feed Prints hard to remove from bed ... show more

  • Fixed the machine!!!!
No power out of the gate, printer is dead on arrival. Update: Dismantled the power supply unit to check why there was no power output at the positive and negative terminal block. I found the Power voltage selector switch was not soldered to the power supply Pcb it was merely floating there with only one of three prongs soldered. I re-soldered the selector and switched it back and forth both ways 2 times just to ensure nothing was damaged internally. i also found one of the capacitors had poorly soldered points and causing it not to charge up appropriately before firing. I re-assembled everything and re-soldered the power supply to printer connector in the picture above, which came broken. after all i turned on the switch and the printer came to life. i am using Creality slicer a Cura based, with and ender 3 V2 Neo Profile with minor tweeks to temperatures and speed. the printer prints silently and comparable to the ender 3 v2 series. the fast mode advertised does not work all it does is smear some filament and make spaghetti mountains all over your print space. i suggest you use the slicer and adjust speeds, acceleration, and feedrates to get anything fast out of this printer which i am confident i can do. 3 stars because i had to do quality control myself on this printer. and find 3 major flaws that could have in the right circumstances caused a fire. i am happy i could fix the issues relatively fast and inexpensive. ... show more

  • Not user friendly
Comes with assembly instructions but no instructions on how to use it. It presents itself as super basic and easy, but I've had major issues with keeping the nozzle and base plate heated and can't no idea how to fix it

  • From wife
This is my son’s second printer. He is ten years old. A slight upgrade from hai first one that he saved money for yet 10x better. He has put his own money towards each purchase. To be fair his first one was like 3 years ago now and it seems they’ve improved much in just a few years. He’s loving it and recommends for beginners. You do have to know some computer and printing jargon to understand the printing settings. ... show more

  • I love it. Just bought a second.
So for perspective I'm not new to 3d printing and my first 3d printers were so bad that it forced me to learn a lot. Compared to those this is is amazing. From my perspective this is a steal for $200. I was printing within 30 mins, I don't have to re-level the bed after every print or every time I turn it on. It's quick and accurate. This is an amazing fdm printer for this price. Just make sure the belts and rollers have proper tension, the power is correctly set to your voltage, and make sure the hot end is correctly put together (or just rebuild it). and everything will work flawlessly. 1 of these printers is about as fast as 2 of my old ones with dialed in settings. The 250mm/s and fast mode may be a bit gimmicky but this thing was built in part for speed. Just slice your prints for speed and don't use fast mode. Fast mode just seems to double everything with no consideration including jerk and acceleration. But if you slice it for speed yourself you can curb a lot of the issues fast mode would have. I started experiencing ringing at around 800-1000 acceleration but it was still very good. It could also be the surfaces I have it on. I still have a lot of room to tweak things to my liking though. I also wish the community was larger for this printer as support and mods are limited. One last thing to note is that at high speeds all the stepper motors get very hot and like the extruder they should probably have a cooling fan aswell. ... show more
