I am a full time dog sitter out of my home, and I purchased this gate to keep dogs away from the front door for a safer environment. It works great! It's higher than most baby gates so 99% of my boarders don't even worry about trying to jump it. Minus one overzealous puppy who really didn't want her friend to leave. 😂 it's easy to open and stays put without shifting around the wall. We ordered a second to keep dogs out of the kitchen and it works just as well! My ONLY complaint is that the small addition piece to put it at its longest length, can only be put on the right side of the gate. So the gate opening is a little uncomfortably close to the trash can cabinet. Flipping it around would have made the gate open outwards towards the trash cabinet and would have been an even smaller opening. Otherwise I love it and always recommend them when other sitters ask for baby gate recommendations. 😄 ... show more

The gate is a great height. My dog could jump over the other types. It is also very good quality. It looks nice. I like that this one comes with different extensions to create the size that works for you.

This gate is very sturdy. I was able to attach it to the walls and now my dogs including my 120 lb Great Pyrenees can not push it out. It is self closing. I love everything about this gate.

These are nice and high ..so little dogs cannot jump out. Since they are higher, they are easier to open and close as you dont have to reach down very far. They are spring loaded and require you to lift up on the gate to open...they self close if you dont open them past 90 degrees. If you open past 90 degrees they stay open which is a nice feature. Only improvement would be to disable the safety latch at the top. We taped ours in the open position, this way my elderly Mom can just lift and open vs using 1 hand to release the safety and the other to lift and swing. Bought to keep cats out of living room because we're scratching my new furniture! This works pretty good but there is a big enough gap where the hinge is so my littler cat squeezes through so I have to tie a scratch pad there that helps but it makes a mess. Wish that there wasn't such a gap!
