After watching a couple of You Tube videos. I had this installed and working in less than 30 minute. Took me a while to get all the cables snugged to put the covers back together. Highly recommend this if you are just looking to remote start your car in the winter.

    • Easy To Install - Worked immediately
This was easy to install, after watching 2 YouTube videos. Remove the plastic covers from the steering column, disconnect factory wires as instructed, connect the Start-X cable harness, program the Start-X to the vehicle, test the Start-X. Looping and storing the excess cable was probably the most difficult part. Is it a factory remote starter? No. Does it remotely start the engine? Yes. Many factory remote starters use vehicle sensors to not only start the vehicle, but also activate window defrosters and seat heater during winter months. This system does not function at that level, but the engine does start and will run up to 15 minutes. If your heat or a/c were on when you shut off the vehicle, they will be on during the remote start cycle. ... show more
