We bought a 2014 RAM 1500 two years ago and it only came with one key. We went to the local dealership and asked how much it would be to get a second key made... They wanted $624!! We declined LOL. A few weeks ago that original keyfob started to malfunction - it would lock or unlock if you barely touched the keys at anytime. Time to get another key. We gave this a chance based on the reviews and OMG IT WORKED!! I honestly was not convinced it would, but it was so easy to install and it worked the first time! We have bought a second key for a backup and will reuse this installer to get that one set up. WOW, Thank you for making something that saved us hundreds of dollars! WELL WORTH IT! ... show more

I purchased a used 2017 Ram Tradesman. I bought the EZ installer or Car Key Express module. I made a key, and my grandkids lost it. So I purchased this set of 2 keys. Went through the programming process. The keys work great, and as an added bonus, the remote starter works. The remote start does not work with the factory key fob, but it does with my new fobs. I now have a remote start on the ones I programmed. Take some time and watch YouTube videos. I had to go through the process a few times to get my timing right. ... show more

    • Don't buy if you have broken OE fob

Product is pretty much useless if you have a not working fob because it can not be programmed the new fob they give you. It needs one working fob because it copy's your OE key Fob pin to put in the new Fob they give you but if your OE is dead then forget it because they can't program the new fob with your pin that only the dealer and locksmith could generate because they pay for dodgers program they use. I work at a Hyundai dealer as a master technician and we have a new pin generated every time we install new keys so to get it you need to be on and have a HMA number with password and I work there and I am a tech so I get a HMA number. Locksmiths pay for the same program. This company sends you used Fobs that where broken or opened before even the company that makes the fobs said Toms keys does that sometimes so most likely you'll get a key that doesn't work. If they ever do program a car is only if you want to added a extra fob which most people do not only if they lost one but in most cases like mine the OE fob just stopped working and you need to replace it so this kit is useless for most people. I tried two kits, customer service is clueless about cars and not technicians just people reading the manual like you would.I would not recommend just save the money and buy one from the dealer or get a aftermarket fob new and have the dealer program it. ... show more

Don’t waste your money at a dealer for replacement key fob programming. Being that it was 1/3 of the price the dealer quoted me for a new key fob, I was skeptical that it would work but figured I’d give it a shot. Opening the box I could see that it looked identical to the original fob we got with the car. After less than 10 min of watching the video, and programming it to my vehicle we now have a fully functioning key fob for our Durango. 100% satisfied ... show more
