Had my old one (original) from the day I bought it and it finally broke on me. Was using tape to hold it together. Decided to just get a new one. These are pretty sturdy, and work great. It was easy for me to connect/program it to my car. There are 2 of them, a key ring and instructions.

my 350z OE one was beat up and the key ring slot was split. So after searching around, these looked to be the closest matching interior mold to the OE ones. So I used these as new fob case for my old original electronics. Pros: - very closely matches OE fob interiors enough to make the swap happen - decent feel of materials - cool to have a red fob while all OE are black Cons: in regard to swaps - the button mechanism on the board is different than OE. The OE has a more pronounced feel/click - thus if you do swap you need to use the matching rubber button pad as this does not have the same "buttons" on the board I can't comment on actual pairing and performance of the replacement fob. I am only commenting on the casing/interior pieces that are swapable. I am saving the rest as spare pieces in case the OE board goes bad. I have been using this remote for three months and I'll say "it works". I received two fobs, the first fob did not work no matter how many times I tried. I thought it was a user error so I tried the second fob and it worked the first time without issue. This fob does not have a long range signal. You have to be within 15 feet of the vehicle and point the fob right at the receiver in the car. I was hoping for better performance but it beats having to put the key in the door to unlock it. On the upper hand the buttons are not fading or wearing yet. Overall I would recommend if you are on a budget. ... show more
