Very solid look, feel, and weight. I WOULDN'T try to steal any car with THIS installed! Very easy to install. BEFORE the Tevlaphee lock is installed - a) Please unlock the steering wheel b) Push the steering wheel all the way in c) Lower the steering wheel to it's lowest point d) Re-lock the steering wheel NOW attach the Tevlaphee lock e) Completely insert the Tevlaphee key into the Tevlaphee lock f) Turn the key and the Tevlaphee lock expands g) You may have to move your right leg underneath and to the left of the Tevlaphee lock as this point h) Pull the Tevlaphee lock's blue hook all the way out i) Twist and attach the Tevlaphee lock's blue hook under the brake pedal j) Pull the Tevlaphee lock's silver handle under your steering wheel k) Push the Tevlaphee lock's silver handle over the bottom of your steering wheel towards your feet until the Tevlaphee lock rests against your steering wheel l) The Tevlaphee lock's key can be removed at this point locking your steering wheel to your brake. **) IF YOU CAN PULL THE Tevlaphee LOCK AWAY FROM YOUR STEERING WHEEL - you have NOT properly locked the Tevlaphee LOCK. The combination, brake pedal and steering wheel lock arrived in its original packaging except that the factory sealed bag had previously been torn open presumably by a previous buyer who returned the item. It can safely be assumed that the lock was returned due to the expanding rods being extremely stiff due to little, or no, lubrication on the rods and inside the locking mechanism. After adding a quality lubricant and expanding and contracting the rods numerous times, the unit is working as expected. The unit itself is well made and should provide an additional layer of security for my new vehicle. It receives a mediocre rating because of the lack of lubricant, and the fact that I had to jerk around with it to make it operational. ... show more
