Always was frustrated with having to start my truck through the ford pass app and not a remote. This fixed that and I use it daily. Seems to have an increased range. Install was very easy.

    • Quite easy to install. 2022 F150 XL
Just installed this in literally 10mins in my apartment parking lot. Instructions were super easy to follow and it really is plug and play. Only tool I used was a 10mm socket and ratchet which is needed for the ground wire. After programming and hitting lock unlock then lock truck started right up in 5 seconds. Ford pass is nice to start the truck but I wanted a key fob option and this uses the original ford fob which is perfect. Don't know the long term use performance or if this might drain the battery over time but it would be so easy to remove I'm not too worried. If you've got an xl or don't have remote start definitely get this, I do think its a bit overpriced but definitely cheaper than the dealership. ... show more
