I just got this today, and it seems to be well made for this price point. Shipped double boxed, arrived in perfect condition. Only problem is that the manual says it takes AA batteries, and they did ship 4 AA batteries; they don't fit. The battery compartment takes 4 AAA batteries.

So first off, if you're looking for something that is burglar and bear-proof, you'll need to spend some more money. It's a light, portable, semi-secure safe that will keep mainly your kids and company from accessing your valuables. With that being said, I didn't buy this safe with the intention of securing the Mona Lisa, I bought it to keep Important documents and small valuables secure and in one place. I like this safe because it’s not too bulky and it does it’s job. It comes with 2 keys or I can use the option of lock/unlock electronically. I love it! I got kids at home and I want to keep them away from my hand guns.
