Design wise, it has design language and similar color to Dyson Airwrap (1st generation). Nothing fancy about the box and packaging. There is no manual on how to use it. Refer to the direction provided in the description or Youtube it for best way to use the attachment. So, how does it work? Wife is extremely happy with the result, picture of hair done without and with the Puregust smoothing Attachment is attached. She used it on one side and not on other. Left side of the picture shows a lot of frizzy hair. Right side shows hair that is definitely more smooth. She felt that her hair felt more "silky" also. Price is good, looks Dyson like, and makes a difference. Seriously, thank God that it's not priced like Dyson. Bottom line, wife is happy with and that's all that matters. ... show more

This attached to my Dyson hairdryer perfectly! I don't quite know how to use it yet, but it appears to work as it should. It connects and stays on as it should. The value is there, as accessories for the Dyson are expensive. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed

I don’t have a Dyson airwrap, but I have a similar product that was much more affordable. I ordered this hoping hoping it would fit on my less expensive dryer set. And YES it does. The color doesn’t match but I don’t care about that. I cannot afford the fancy matched Dyson set. Yet the rich colors of this accessory do look nice with the black and gold of my set. It fits, and the knob on the top rotates the air vents so you can do either side of your head.
 So, if you want to try this on a non-Dyson product, make sure that your airwrap style dryer has little round bumps on the end that fits into the main unit. My sister has a different non-Dyson unit, but that one has vertical lines rather than round bumps. This attachment doesn’t fit that other one. That being said, like any other hair tool, you have to practice to make this work well. To be honest, I need a lot more practice. But the attachment does its job. ... show more

This fits my HS01 perfectly. The materials and quality are right on par with the name brand version. The attachment is light weight, the adjustable knob and directional bar work perfectly. I am impressed with the difference it makes when drying my hair in our hot, humid climate. I included photos of the "before" and "after". The before is with a rough dry and some smoothing brush, the after is just going through with this soothing attachment once my hair was mostly dry. I used this tonight and good news, it fits my airwrap. I'm not sure if I'm having user error or if the product is defective, as I did not experience any smoothing on my hair. I was always interested in purchasing this smoothing tool, but it was always sold out on the Dyson website. The option to flip directions didn't really flip. When I figure out how to rotated the full attachment, it didn't seem like it was blowing the correct direction and was not easy to position. One of the great things about the Dyson Airwrap is the range of styling accessories that can be had with it. What makes those choices sweeter is being able to find those accessories for less. This frizz and flyaway reducing attachment fits my Airwrap HS05 perfectly and the materials and fuschia/gray finish match my Airwrap, as well. My daughter has an Airwrap HS05 that came with the Dyson Flyaway attachment and, holding them side by side, I can’t see or feel a difference between them. This fits my air wrap but how it works I’m not sure it’s exactly how the Dyson one works. It does take care of some flyaways but not all.

I bought this as it was an attachment I didn't have for my dyson, but now I get why. There were no instructions on how to use it, but it doesn't really do anything for my hair, definitely doesn't prevent frizz. i prefer the hair dryer and curling attachments.
