I've had this nearly three weeks now. I live in a tiny studio apartment and this litter box keeps the smells to zero. If you walked into my place you would never suspect I owned a cat. I probably will clean the box once a month but when changing the bags it has stayed very clean.     • Not a good product
I bought this 2 months ago. From the first few days I noticed that it was not eliminating odors. After a few weeks it got to the point that I couldn’t stand the smell in the room it was in. The Odor of urine was so strong I thought my cat had went on the floor. After purchasing 50.00 carpet cleaner to eliminate odors I completely tore the box apart to clean every inch of it trying to find the source of the smell. When I lifted the barrel off the base there was a puddle of urine. The smell was so bad. It took me nearly an hour to clean every inch of the box. Once I got that cleaned up the smell was gone. A few days later I lifted the barrel again and there was urine there again. I do not know how it is getting to the base of the box but I will be getting a new box and this one will no longer be used in my house. It is time consuming to clean and awkward. I lost out on the money I spent on this product. I would not recommend anyone buy this. ... show more

    • Hard to clean
This litter robot worked well initially, but it has consistently declined since we bought it. The litter gets stuck underneath the turning chamber and makes a grinding noise if you don’t get it all out. It is very difficult to clean because there is no opening, so you are cleaning a large bulky cylinder. This design also makes it harder to put the litter inside. The bags that collect the litter are super handy but don’t contain the smell very well. The bottom of the chamber is like a rubber lining and urine and fecal matter, if there isn’t enough litter inside, will stick to the bottom even when the chamber is emptied. I will say that it empties every time one of the cats use it, which is a plus. Also the cats are not afraid of it and it’s not too loud as long as all the litter around the machine is gone. The bag clean up is super easy too. I can’t really compare this to other litter robots because this is my first one, but I’d say definitely look at how to clean whichever one you choose. ... show more

    • Overall very good!
My main concern was smell control in a small NYC 2 bedroom, along with safety. I am convinced after only a few days that the sensor works fine; it's not going to activate while your baby is inside. The auto mode also works well; it will activate when it needs to and drop into an air-tight container. If I had the PERFECT model in mind, it would probably include a vent to vent out of the window as well, but I looked for a long time and I don't think that's on the market/invented yet. So basically I can't really think of a way to do better than this model, and for the price I am very satisfied. 10/10 ... show more

Box is cute and I want to love it but it does not work as described. The reason we purchased this box is because the weight feature and height were low compared to other boxes and we have a 3lb kitten. It detects her, but the app does not record the history as intended it will not automatically clean, so each morning her room smells like urine. I would manually have to push the clean button multiple times a day. If thats what u want to do or you have a smaller heavy cat, then this machine could work for you. The infrared sensor however also does not detect her and does not stop the machine. It claims to do 120 degree radius, yet customer service told me 4 inches. No wonder it doesn't work. My cat has sat right in front of the sensor and it doesnt stop. ... show more

Super easy to set up. Much smaller than I expected. But my 14lb boy managed to get in just fine. I’m a little concerned about the dirty bag being at the top. I will update. One of my biggest pet peeves is stickers. There were stickers that were pretty much glued on. The clear ones were fine but the white glossy ones do not want to come off. I still can’t get the adhesive off. Why???? A guide book would be just fine. Other than that I’m hoping this will work out well. ... show more

My cat quickly adapted to this litter box. At about 15 pounds, it’s the perfect size for her. Just a note make sure to connect it to a 2.4G WiFi. I used to hate bending over to scoop litter every day, but now I only need to empty it once a week. The waste bin holds a lot and comes with trash bags. Instead of raking the litter, this box rotates to clean it, which I find more effective. "After the first time I had to clean this thing out, I almost launched it into the nearest dumpster. My husband, ever the voice of reason (and budget), reminded me how much we spent on it and said I should give it another shot. But honestly, if you're thinking about getting an automatic litter box, save yourself the headache and go for a simple, lid-free one. No matter what we tried, this contraption somehow managed to smell worse than a regular litter box, and cleaning it was like signing up for a horror movie sequel.
