I have 3 cats and 2 of them took to this lovely gadget right away. The third kitty took about 5 days or so to get used to it but ended up adapting- THANK GOODNESS!!! I have been a dedicated cat paren all my life, and this litter box is the bomb! Very easy set up and works like a charm. So easy to empty and very low odor. It kinda looks like mini ufo, very easy on the eyes. Quiet and clean, your hands will never youch dirty litter again! So, there you have it, the best litter box I have ever found. This is the best automatic litter box I have had and it was for less than half the price of my last one! I used it for 4 days and it has handled my 3 full grown cats. My youngest female will finally use it now that this one has a wider opening and is so quiet, i can finally have one litterbox for them all. Cleaning it is easier with the egg basket design so it fits in the tub verses having to spray it down outside with a hose. The container goes up to clean so it fits into a smaller space. And the liner goes in and you can pull it it through by the stings with no mess AND the liner strings go into the track so no mess gets in the tray as long as you put it in correctly. I did let the litter get down too low and the next number two did stick a little but after I added a cup of litter it prompted it to clean. I only smell it after they just went for 10 seconds a that's it. Very light weight and set up was less than 3 minutes. Pics show result after one clean cycle. 10/10. ... show more

My husband tried an automatic litter box many many years ago and had a bad experience with them, but this was before we met. He’s been very skeptical to buy one since. I, on the other hand, am the one that cleans the cat boxes regularly and really wanted to give one a try without spending a lot of money, incase it was as bad as he said. My cats like open top style boxes, and this one offers that. My cats are still getting used to it, but I’ve noticed that it has great litter control and the smell is controlled well in the waste box at the bottom of the machine. The waste box pulls out easily and goes back in easily. It is large, but does not take up more space than the litter box I had in that space, but just stands taller. ... show more

I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner! First off, this item was a great price compared to similar brands currently on the market. I found it was easy to put together, and very well built. They even supplied extra part (which I did unfortunately had to use due to my own excitement and not reading instructions first). The suppler not only had details to put it together properly, but also had supplied great information about how to get your cat adjusted to using it. This was very helpful as I was fearful they would not adjust to it. If the cats could write a review I am pretty sure it would also be a 5 star. They (not only myself ) love having a clean box, so the instant clean up is the best. It keeps smells down unlike the regular cat boxes. The self cleaning will also be great when I am away on trips for my cat sitter. The noise level for the cleaning process is low, so it isn't scary to the cats, or disruptive to the humans. While the size of the box might make you think to pass, don't. It is worth the space it takes. In reality it is no bigger than the space of a open aired cat box. The cleaning features also seems to help with the use of cat litter. So this will be a extra cost saving feature. ... show more

Great idea, I wish that I knew about this earlier. I have 2 cats and they are getting older and messy. One is using it, the other refuses to even look at it so, I keep a litter box next to the robot. I have hope that she will eventually ditch the old box and embrace the new one. It is good looking, the assembly wasn't as easy (the reason of my 4-star rating), it took longer than expected since the legs were the most difficult part to insert. The cleaning process is not very quiet, but it is effective. If your cat "poop" a lot, this thing will roll twice until it is all gone. Recommended ... show more
